Dear Diary
Today was the first day back at school. We had our annual senior parade. It was so much fun! All the seniors met at the local grocery store in Belmont before school started. We all decorated our cars with shoe polish on the windows and streamers. Then we all lined up our cars and paraded to the school. It still sucks that I’m grounded! Last night all the seniors rolled the school with toilet paper and I missed it. I should have never lied to my parents about the beach trip. I didn’t think I would get caught. My alibi was tight, I thought. They caught me at the beach unsupervised with Mav, his friends, and my girls. Of course I was the only one to lie about it. But I had so much fun I would so do it again! So now I’m stuck in my room with no phone and no access to the outside world! So now you, diary, are my new best friend. So Jackson is in three of my four classes. All day today I kept asking myself why I even dated him. I kept catching him staring at me and he also kept trying to start up conversations with me. Although, I should be happy that he still wants to be my friend I guess. I thought about Mav all day long. I can’t believe I won’t be able to talk to him for a month! I really think that I am completely and totally in love with him.
Jacinda,
Man, I already miss you and it’s only been one day. Sorry about everything at the beach, I mean the stuff with your parents. Hope they aren’t too mad, but they must be or I’d be talking to you right now instead of writing. If it’s possible try calling me at work, I think you have the number. I have duty tomorrow (Monday) so any time after 4pm and I’ll call you right back. Love you a lot. I’ll write you everyday till you call. P.S. Have fun in school, but not too much fun with Jackson in all of your classes!
Love You, Mav
Hey, Jacinda,10 Aug
Told you I’ll write everyday till you call. It’s Monday night, just sitting here watching wrestling. Didn’t do much at work today, but I met the new class that will be here the next seven weeks. They’re pretty cool, not so crazy as the last class, so no one will steal my pants! Hope you had fun at school, I’m sure your boyfriend will keep you company in all your classes. (just kidding). I called home earlier today, Allison told me you didn’t have your pager, so I’ll quit paging you. If you can use the phone, call me any time. I’d love to hear your voice. I have duty again Sunday so I’ll be at my work number all day, or any day around 4pm. When I come home for your Birthday Sept 4th I have Monday off too, so I’ll be home 3 days. Hope you’re not in trouble then. Justin gets up here Sunday so I’ll have someone else to hang out with. Sure we’ll get in some trouble.
Anyway, guess I’ll write again tomorrow or until I hear that sweet voice again. Love ya, write back if you get a chance, try not to forget about me with all those guys you have at South Point. Hope to hear from you soon.
Love, Mav
Hey Jacinda,11Aug
It’s about 10:45 on Tuesday night, once again I didn’t get to talk to you. Any way things here are pretty much the same. I painted two engines at work today. Then went to the gym and played basketball for a couple of hours. Hope to hear from you soon, it’s only Tuesday and all I can do is think of you. It’s going to be a long three weeks. Tomorrow I’m going down to Virginia Beach to do some more shopping, don’t know what for, just for fun I guess. Tell everyone back home I said “Hi”. Hope to hear from you soon, I’ve been trying to call home more, so if I need to know anything let Allison know. Again, I hope to hear from you soon, Mav
Hey Girl,13 Aug
Got your letter from the first day of school, and it made me miss you just so much! Today I didn’t do much at work. Afterwards I took the Jet ski out for a couple of hours. Now I’m back in my room, have to do a little studying tonight for work. Anyway, I called home tonight and talked to my family and Allison. Told her to tell you “Hi” , hope she does. Sure do miss you a lot. All these letters you send make me miss home so much, Since all you talk about is Laura and Jackson. I miss them so much. (Yeah Right!) Try to stay off Jackson in class, I got people watching you. Ha Ha Anyway I sure do miss you, can’t wait to see you again or just talk to you on the phone. Glad to hear you got a job. Now you can pay when we go out! (That’ll probably happen!)
