"GOOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!!" Sophie cheered with thousands of other fans that were watching the game between Red Bulls and Columbus Crew.
It's become a habit that all the games in New York Blake would give her tickets and she would go to the stadium. She thought this was a way of him to inflate his ego, but anyways, if it was, she knew it was working.
And this time, Brie had joined her on the stands and seemed to be having a great time. "Your boyfriend is so good! How can he do that?" She asked as they sat back down on their seats after celebrating Blake's goal.
"Waking up at 5 every morning and not leaving practice till 7 at night." Sophie answered with pride in her eyes. She knew few people who worked as hard as Blake to succeed and that was one of the many thinks she admired about him.
After the game, which the Red Bulls won by 2x0, Sophie and Brie went to a small café on Brooklyn to have a late lunch while Blake rested.
"This is my favorite place in the world!" Brie said, enjoying her pasta marinara.
"I don't get why you like it here so much." Sophie laughed at her friend. At least once a week Brie would have to go there.
"I grew up here. The food tastes like home to me." She shrugged and Sophie smiled at the answer. It made sense after all.
"Talking about home. In three weeks it's time to leave your cozy apartment and go on the road, huh?" Sophie remembered her about the date of the Life Tour, that was getting closer each day.
"I can barely sleep anymore. The anxiety is killing me Soph." Brie admitted. The prospect was huge! There were posters of her all around the city. More and more people recognized her on the streets. Her tracks were playing on the radio and her album that was launched not so long ago was selling like crazy on iTunes and even on the stores.
"It's going to be perfect B. You have nothing to worry about." Sophie tried to calm her down a little. "Actually, you should post a picture right now on your Instagram. Give me your phone." Brie handed Sophie the phone who asked her to pretend she was eating her pasta normally.
In the end the picture looked like it was taken without Brie's notice and Sophie was happy with the result. The caption read: 'At my favorite place on Brooklyn. I'll miss it so much while on the road! But at the same time, can't wait for the tour to begin!!! #SoAnxious #TheLifeTour'
"There you go. Perfect!" Sophie handed back Brie's phone to her.
"Guess who just liked my post?" Brie smiled at her friend after checking the feed.
"By the look in your eyes, I'm gonna guess it was George?" Sophie asked already knowing the answer.
"Who would think we were going to be dating two incredibly hot soccer players?" Brie joked and Sophie laughed, agreeing with her friend's line of thought.
"They are hot, aren't they?" The two girls laughed with each other, enjoying the wine and the Italian food they had on their table.
There weren't many people at the restaurant since it was getting late and the two felt comfortable there around each other.
"I'm thinking of asking Blake to come to my sister's wedding with me." Sophie told Brie. She had been thinking about that since her mother questioned her about him. She had almost got to a decision, but wasn't too confident about it.
