Chapter Twenty Seven - Let Me
"Baby, let me be your man
So I can love you
And if you let me be your man
Then I'll take care of you, you
For the rest of my life, for the rest of yours
For the rest of my life, for the rest of yours
For the rest of ours"

"I still can't believe you're really here." Sophie thought out loud. She was cuddling with Blake on his bed at his apartment. And she missed this spot right on his arms so much.
"I missed your smell." He whispered on her ear.
They had made up on the hotel rooftop and after coming to terms they should never have broken up, they ran to Blake's apartment and made love until both of them couldn't move anymore. They didn't get one minute of sleep the entire night. Too eager to be with one another.
Now the sunlight was beginning to show and they were still talking.
"I thought you had found another girlfriend." Sophie admitted, a bit embarrassed. But she had to ask about the article one time or another.
Blake laughed out loud, making Sophia even more embarrassed. "I was in abstinence of everything sexually and romantically related since our last night, Soph..." He stated, more seriously. "Unless you count the picture of you I have in my wallet a new girlfriend."
"You have a picture of me in your wallet?" Sophie asked curious.
"I had to have you in some way, that was the closest thing I got." He explained and that almost put a tear in Sophia's eyes.
She wasn't the only one who was miserable without the other.
"I'm so sorry I was so stupid." She turned to look at him and he had a smile on his face, one that showed he was more than willing to forgive her. "But I saw a photo of you and a blonde goddess in London. It was front page of a gossip magazine."
Blake looked confused for a second before laughing out loud one more time. "You mean Katie. She's my cousin. And was trying to cheer me up and took me out for a night out in the city. She also has a boyfriend who was probably standing right beside us in this photo you saw."
Sophie covered her face with a pillow and grunted. She had gotten so wasted after seeing this picture and was so hungover the next day. And that was for absolutely nothing.
                              "I am so stupid."
"Yes, you are, Klein. But you're my stupid." Blake took the pillow off her face and kissed her forehead.
"I should have gotten on the plane to London." She spoke, thinking back to the day Blake left and she searched for him in the airport.
                              "You considered that?" He asked.
"I searched for you at the airport but your flight had already departed." Sophie admitted and Blake kissed her more fiercely this time.
"We're here now." He stated after. "I might be unemployed but who cares?"
"I still can't believe you gave up on your dream." Even though Sophie was happy Blake had came back for her she couldn't help but be sad that he gave up on his big opportunity.
"I wouldn't be happy there so that wasn't exactly my dream. The contract wasn't good enough. I was going to be benched for the most part of the season and I wouldn't have you. I made the right choice." He said that with so much certainty that for now Sophie was satisfied.
"And what are you gonna do now?"
"My manager is fixing things up and there's a chance I can go back to my team." Blake's eyes glittered with hope.
"You can always be my trophy boyfriend." Sophie joked and Blake laughed.
"That's one thing I'm good at."

Romance"How haven't we met before, then?" He asked in a joking tone and Sophie rolled her eyes at him. "Maybe we did. We could have passed by each other on the streets for all I know." She tried to reason, getting into his small talk. There was nothing el...
