*Toby's POV*
It's now five in the evening and Spencer and I are still this 'heaven'.
"So, do you want to be a cop forever?" She asks, playing with the fingers of my left hand while we lay in bed.
"No, this is just to make money. I like it but I'd love to do carpentry," I answer, gazing into her eyes. She's to beautiful, lying here in only my shirt.
"Really?" She asks, a smile growing on her face. I can tell she is pleased that I still want to achieve the dream I have dreamt about since high school.
"What about you? What are you studying in college?" I ask, watching as she thinks about what I'm asking.
"Law, and it's so boring" she giggles.
"So you want to be a lawyer?" I question. I can tell she doesn't want to. Her mother is a lawyer and I know she doesn't want to be like her. She isn't like her.
"No! I don't," she laughs. "I don't know what I want to do. I might be a politician,"
She is so cute when she is thinking. The way she her nose scrunches up is just adorable.
"I think you would suit being a politician," I laugh.
"How would I suit being a politician?" Spencer smiles, watching as I answer her.
"I can imagine you going to work in the morning with your business gear on," I start. "You wake up in the morning and get dressed before you wake the kids up. We all eat our breakfast together before you go off to work and I take the kids to school," I smile at the thought.
Spencer is gazing at me and has dropped my hand she was fidgeting with just seconds ago.
"You come in from work and I will have made your dinner. The four of us will sit around the table and you'll tell us about all the political stuff that's going on while we pretend to listen," I chuckle. "Then we will all watch a movie before the kids go to bed. We will stay up and talk about our bill or whatever married people talk about before we go to bed and............"
"You've thought about this?" Spencer interrupts. When I look up at her she had a tear in her eye.
"Of course," I answer honestly.
"We can't though," she whispers, tears beginning to stream down her face.
I lift my hands to her cheeks and wipe the tears falling onto the kingsized bed. She whimpers when my hands stay on her face.
"Why can we not?" I ask, forcing her to look me in the eye.
"It's complicated, I can't break up with Jonny," Spencer answers, I don't understand why. I can see the battle beneath her eyes.
"Why not?" I ask, stroking my thumb along her cheek.
"If my mom finds out I'm seeing you again. She told me to never speak to you again," Spencer cries. I pull her to my chest but she pulls away.
"Spence, don't do this" I beg. She can't run away again, not this time.
"I'm sorry," she whispers, grabbing her clothes, that she neatly folded into the wardrobe, and running out of the apartment.

I feel so bad for Toby tbh.
