*Toby's POV*

I stay in my apartment all day. Spencer has called a number of times but I can't pick up the phone.

Every time she crosses my mind, which is all the time, I think about that night.

I've been sitting on my sofa staring at the TV that isn't switched on. In a daze.

"Toby?" I hear someone shout from outside my door. I quickly hide the tissues scattered on my floor by pushing them under the couch.

"Toby? Are you there?" It's Spencer. Shit.

"Spence, I can't talk right now," I shout from the other side of the doors

I walk over and rest my head against it. The last thing I want to do is look Spencer in the eye.

"Please Toby, I just want to see you," she begs. I hear her trying to open the door but it's locked.

"Can we talk later?" I ask, trying to persuade her to come back later.

"No. I want to see you," she says. There is something in her voice. Something different, a different emotion.

"I can't talk right now," I sigh. I look down at my feet.

"Are you with another girl? Yvonne?" She asks, sorrow filling her tone.

"No! No, I would never do that!" I yell, hoping she'll hear the conviction in my voice.

"Why can't I see you?" She asks, her voice betraying her when I hear her voice crack. She's crying.

"What's wrong?" I question. I press my hand to the door.

"Jonny and I were talking today," she starts. "He told me you had a secret," she cries. See if that little prick told her anything.

I slowly unlock the door and open it hesitantly. Spencer is standing at the other side with tears streaming down her face.

"I don't care what you did. I don't want to know," she cries, walking into my arms and squeezing my tightly.
