*Spencer's POV*
We pull up outside the hotels entrance where there is a red carpet that leads into the lobby. Photographers line the carpet shouting for people to pose for pictures.
"I didn't realise this was such a big deal," I tell Toby as he hands his keys over to the man waiting. I'm guessing he is going to park the car for us.
"My family are the richest in the town. They know some pretty important people," he remarks.
I watch as important looking men and woman walk up and down the red carpet. Some have children with their hair either with to much gel or to much hairspray.
Toby walks around the car and opens my door. He takes my hand and I squeeze it in reassurance. I can tell he doesn't want to be here and he is hesitant about walking in.
"You'll be fine," I whisper to him. He looks at me and smiles, squeezing my hand again.
We walk up the red carpet and people start shouting for us to pose for the camera.
Toby puts his arm around my waist and I lean in to him. He smiles at me and I start laughing.
"I feel like I'm a celebrity," I giggle. He starts to laugh and pull me closer to him, smiling towards the camera once more.
Toby grabs my hand and leads us into the fancy hotel in front of us. The noise from the paparazzi has died down a little bit.
"Wow," I whisper when we enter the massive room where the party is being held.
There are tables scattered across the floor with different drinks on them. There were waiters and waitresses walking around with appetisers placed on trays. It looks like a movie scene.
"Fancy. I know. My parents are tacky and don't come up with their own ideas," he huffs.
"No, it looks amazing," I say as he takes me to the front of the hall.
"Where are we going?" I ask, his hand still laced in mine.
"To tell my mom and dad that we are here," he states. I walk slightly behind him, watching my surroundings. There is rich people everywhere.
"Toby! Spencer!" I hear Marion shout. She runs over and embraces me in a tight hug.
"You look amazing," I complimented. She smiles at me.
"Right back at ya," he jokes, laughing to herself.
"Hey mom," Toby says, a small smile on his face.
Marion hesitantly wraps her arms around her son. At first it's a bit awkward but Toby finally embraces her.
"You smell really nice, son." She states. I chuckle under me breath at Marion complimenting his cologne.
"Eh, thanks?" He says in a questioning tone. She pulls away from him and looks him up and down.
"You look so handsome," he says, pulling his jacket down a bit. Toby rolls his eyes as tears start to well up in her eyes.
"Mom," he groans. "You saw me like yesterday," he says.
"For two minutes before I took your beautiful girlfriend out shopping." She cries. She tries to dab the tears off her face so she doesn't ruin her makeup.
"It's okay," he mumbles, awkwardly taking him mom into his arms again.
I watch as his face turns to the side and he goes ridged. An older man is walking towards us and holding his arm, that bitch Jenna.
