I had spent every day of my weekend at Koda's house not once checking in at home. Sunday night had gotten there too quickly. We sat on Koda's couch watching Netflix and eating popcorn. Most was on the floor seeing we had a popcorn fight and we just kind of hoped her dog would eat it, but he didn't. Koda drilled me on Mr.Blake all weekend so I read of fighting it, I gave in and told her everything that had happened that week. She smiled when I mentioned that he calls me Kels and told me I should call him by a nickname to see what his reaction is. We even spent half of Saturday looking him up on the internet. It doesn't take long to find his dad's company or any of his family. A few articles were on Mr.Blake himself and all I collected was that his middle name was Dean. When we finally found a picture of him, Koda was practically begging me to take her with me Monday. I laughed at her until I realized how serious she was. She finally agreed to drop the topic when her mom walked it.
The doorbell rang twice which caused us to look at each other. Without speaking we held up our fist ready to play Rock Paper Scissors to see who would be answering the door. I OF course lost and answered only to find my mother on the other side.
"Come on Kelsey. You have work tomorrow." She said to me raising an eyebrow and heading back to the car. I grabbed my phone and told Koda and her mom bye before jumping in the car with my mom. "Mr.Blake is impressed with you." She spoke after driving in silence for ten minutes. I raised my eye brow at her which made her laugh. "He said you were smart and good at organizing his office. He wants to keep you around." She said smiling. I knew she liked that idea because that meant I was close to her. I simply nodded my head agreeing with her and the idea of the job.
Monday rolled around quick and passed slow as I had to sit outside Mr.Blakes office all day. Important people were in there and according to Mr.Blake I couldn't be in there. Unfortunately for me Tuesday was the exact same but I had brought cross word puzzles with me. I texted Koda telling her how boring my day was and she just sent lol back. By Wednesday I had a butt load of stuff to keep me busy and yet when we walked up there were no important men in suits. Only Mr.Blake behind his desk.
"Kels...Kelsey." He corrected himself as he called my name. I walked in and looked at him as he sat in a black suit with a black tie. It fit him so well and made his eyes even more blue, if that was possible.
"Y..yes?" I stuttered out and he smiled at me.
"Sorry about the past two days. They needed some paper work, which was conveniently filed for me." He flashed me a smirk that made my heart jump a little. I turned from him at sat at the filing cabinet and started filing the next box. I had only done two out of ten boxes in a week.
"So why do you go by Liam and not Dean?" I asked to break the silence.
"How did you know that?" He asked me and I could hear him putting his book down.
"Don't stop reading of my account. Please go on." I stated not even looking at him.
"You and your friend stalk me online this weekend?" He asked me which left me thankful that my back was to him because I was wide eyes.
"I know you read that text." I responded and I looked around to him. He was already looking from his book to me. His beautiful smirk rested on face which made me blush.
"Yeah, I did. All to be correct." He stated which made me blush harder. I turned.l back around and continued my work. "I scrolled up some while you were working. Saw my name. Got interested." His hypnotizing voice sung and I looked at him but now he was leaning on his desk facing me. I stood up realizing he had gone through my phone.
"You went through my phone?" I angrily yet softly asked him.
"Are you upset?" He asked as he stood straight up and walked towards me.
