You're Not My Father

"Engaged!" I screamed as I waddled faster than I thought I could. Eyes turned to me as well as Dean's eyes. 

"Kelsey," Dean began but I stuck my hand in his face. Now the whole office was definitely sure Dean was the father of my baby and countless whispering started. "And Dylan, in Brianna's room? Out of the whole house Amanda just happened to want Brianna's room?" I went on and Dean's hands went into his face as he wiped it.

 "Calm down." He said quietly as he got up and walked out of the room with me close on his heels. 

"Explain!" I exclaimed my request and he sighed. 

"I tried to break things off but as much as I want to say no, I do have feelings for Amanda and you are only a seventeen year old." He responded and I was taken back. Only seventeen. I stepped back a few more before turning to leave the kitchen and to the front door. 

"Mom!" I yelled as I put my jacket on and mom along with Koda stood beside me shortly. We left almost instantly and I couldn't have been more happier.

"Does he even have to be apart of her life?" My dad asked and my mom shrugged. 

"He is her father. What kind of mother would I be if I didn't let her see him?" I asked and my mom exchanged glances with dad. 

"A good mom who cares." She spoke and I looked at her. 

"Would she forgive me?" I softly spoke and mom nodded her head.

 "Honey, I have to tell you something." My mom spoke and my dads head snapped to her. 

"You sure?" He asked and she nodded her head.

 "Honey," mom paused and I could see the hurt in her eyes, "sometimes being a mother is making the right decision for your baby when they can't. Raising Brianna away from her  biological father wouldn't be the worst thing. I know this because I raised you without yours." She finished and my eyes shot to my dad. I felt tears staring to form but held them back 

"Daddy? What does she mean?" I asked and he looked towards my mom. 

"When I was your age my stepfather raped me and I had you." She went on and I looked down. Her stepfather was my biological dad? 

"Is that why I don't see grandmother?" I asked and she nodded her head. Mom had never let me meet her parents and after all this time I know why. "That's why you freaked out knowing it was someone older." I went on and they looked at me. Surprisingly I wasn't shocked my dad wasn't my dad at all. 

"How did y'all meet?" I asked looking between my parents and they smile. 

"Mars was my best friend through high school and when you came along she moved in with me. I've had you two ever since." Dad said with a smile. From day one he claimed me as his.

 "He has never once told anyone different about your father because he is. I put his name is on your birth certificate and only a handful of people know the truth but I've never worried about them." Mom said and I nodded my head.

 "Well, sis, mom, whoever, I'm going to my room and think on the subject. I want to make the right choice." I said with humor lingering in my voice and she laughed. 

"Bye." My dad called after me and I turned and waved.

I had already called Koda with my decision on Brianna and Dean and even told her about my mom and biological father, which almost gave her a heart attack. Of course she agreed on my decision with Dean as did my parents when I trotted downstairs about twenty minutes ago and set my case out. Now all I had to do was get ahold of Dean, without Amanda, lay everything out in front of him, make him agree, and leave. Sounds simple but I'm sure ending world hunger would be easier than finding Dean Blake without Amanda.

A/N: SOOOOO by now it's time to announce his book is a spin off of my best friends book. I'll link it below in a couple of chapters but it started by I started MBB and we decided to merge our stories. ALSO for those of you who read Edge of Rebellion and notice it's now down, that's because I merged it with this one and it will be Brianna's story!! There's only a few more chapters left in MBB because it started as a fun writing project to start my brain up and working. Thanks for the support. UPDATED A/N: I am editing all chapters which mean some have changed but please bare with me. I wrote this back in 2016 when I was still new to sharing my stories. Edge of Rebellion is back up and finished and I will be giving another book based of Kelsey. I'm so excited to be writing this new chapter in her life as well as 'Most Likely To be a Porn Star' where we go back to Dean and Amanda's high school days and everything that led them to where they were!
