I looked in the doorway to see my mom and dad and a crying Koda.
" I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention." Koda cried to me. I looked to Dean whose face seemed plain.
" Get up now Dean." My dad said in a powerful voice. Dead stood up as my parents watched him. He zipped his pants up and put his belt on. I button the top button and stood off the bed.
"Dean." I said latching onto him as if my life depended on it.
"We told you to stay away from Kelsey, Mr.Blake." My mom spoke to Dean in her mom voice and my chest rose and dropped fast. It didn't take long to know I was scared and I guess Dean picked it up because his arm wrapped around me.
"I expected more of you, Kelsey." My dad said looking at me with the disappointment he had shown me for the last two months.
"Leave Dean. Now. This is your last chance before I call the police and press charges." My dad told Dean. Dean looked and me and turned to me wrapping me in a hug. I felt his lips kiss my forehead and he pulled away.
"I'll be right here." He said putting a hand on my stomach and then kissing my lips. A tear fell down my face as he pulled away. I watched as he left my room and heard the front door open and close. I stood there in front of my parents and best friend crying. I fell to my knees and felt arms wrap around me. Koda's perfume filled my nose and I threw my arms around her.
"it's okay." She whispered to me and I shook my head no.
"It's time to leave Koda." My father spoke and I looked at my best friend. She stood up and grabbed her bag off the floor and left the same as Dean. I watched my mom walk to my closet and pull my suit case out.
"What are you doing?" I asked as she began pulling clothes out of my closet and drawers and folding them and sticking them into my suitcase.
"Mom?" I said a little louder but she kept going.
*Four Months Later*
Dean's POV--
I laid in my bed with my hands behind my head. I stared at the ceiling as I felt the breathing of the girl beside me. Her arm stayed on my waist holding me for warmth. I used a arm to wrap around her and kiss her forehead before pulling myself out of bed. It was eight in the morning and I had to be at work by eight thirty. I walked to the closet pulling a suit out. My ties was attached to the hanger and I pulled shoes off my rack. I got ready quick and walked to my bathroom looking at myself in the well-lit mirror. I combed my hair over and back into its usual sweep. I finished up after brushing my teeth and walked out of the bathroom cutting off the lights. I leaned over placing a kiss on the girls head before heading out the door and to my car.
I pulled into the office and parked into my spot and walked in the building taking the elevator to my floor. Walking to my office I look over to see Marlow on the phone.
"Good morning, Marlow." I said walking into my office as she waved. I sat down in my desk and wiped my face with my hand. My door open and my face got a smile as my sister walked in.
"Lexi." I said leaning my chair back as she took one in front of me.
"How's Amanda?" She asked crossing her legs.
"At home, she's good." I told her truthfully as I thought about Amanda.
"And Kelsey?" She asked which snapped my attention to my sister.
"That's a name I haven't heard that name in a few moments." I told her and she looked at me.
"You haven't heard anything at all?" She asked and I shook my head.
