{oh my fucking god it's been literally forever since I've posted on anything I'm so sorry}
Patrick sighed, tail flicking side to side as he lay on his belly, scrolling through the emails on his phone. He had his headphones in, listening to a Blink-182 song he couldn't remember the name of at the moment. He sang softly, not noticing Pete as he walked into his room. (Yes I fucking know the name of this song)
"All the small things, true care, truth brings. I'll take one lift, your ride best trip. Always I know, you'll be at my show. Watching, waiting, commiserati-"
He cut off with a squeal as Pete jumped onto his bed and grabbed his arms, scaring him bad. Pete just laughed, poking his tongue out and smiling at Patrick. Patrick huffed, pausing his song and looking at Pete with the best pouty face he could pull.
"Don't scare me..." He whined, tail now laying still and ears flat. Pete pulled him into a hug, snuggling him close but still smiling.
"Fine. But it's cute, and I got you." Pete giggled, looking at Patrick's phone. "Whatcha doing?" He asked. Patrick shrugged.
"Emails," He responded lightly, wagging his tail again. Pete chuckled and raised his eyebrow.
"At 11 at night?" He asked. Patrick yawned, shrugging again.
"Can't sleep...." He said, nuzzling into Pete and putting his phone down. Pete held him close, smiling and petting between his ears.
"You look exhausted, baby... Try again for me?" He asked. Patrick nodded silently, humming and leaning on Pete's chest. He slowly fell asleep, tail swishing behind him. Pete smiled, taking off his fedora and kissing his head before taking out his headphones and putting them with his phone on the nightstand. He just held Patrick there, closing his eyes and sighing, eventually falling asleep with Patrick on top of him, not worrying about how stiff he would be in the morning.
