Pagkatapos ng masalimuot na kasong hinawakan ni Aljone para sa kanyang pinakamamahal na si Doreen, habang hinihintay niya ang paghatol ng korte, lumipad na ito pabalik sa Gran Britanya. Dumating sa Heathrow Airport ang binata at sinalubong siya ng ama ni Doreen na si Henry.
"It's so great you have come again. I, my wife and Doreen miss you a lot. Welcome back to London!" at niyakap siya ni Henry.
"Thanks Sir Henry, it has been quite a few months from now since I have made my first visit here. This time, I will be having my sabbatical leave from work."
"What do you intend to do here? Ahh, I got it, you will study. Will you stay with us for longer months? You see, it's spring time and we can play outdoors. Football or lawn tennis? Whichever is good and relaxing will do..."
"Sure, why not? I will again play with you? Let's have geese hunting, hehe. But this time I hope it's much harder and more challenging game to have. I am missing Mr. Rutherford and Mr. Philipps. Will they join us?" nanabik na tanong ni Aljone.
"Yes, they miss you more than I do. Most probably, we'll drive by noon at Dulwich and later at Finsbury Park? How's that? I think Doreen would go as well. She needs some fresh air."
"That's some good news to hear. Well, how's Doreen. Is she ok? She might be missing me really because of my long furlough at the Philippines."
"Well, she misses you really a lot and Merlina, too. After that wedding day of yours at Westminster, not even a day she would miss just mentioning your name to us. How lovely that is..."
"Ahm, I really miss Doreen especially when she did the driving along Harrods and of course at the Gherkin. Remember the Piccadilly Circus and the Hyde Park? "Well, it's I who would be the one to fetch you for the meantime as I have done it now instead my daughter doing this. You know, Doreen can no longer drive because of her condition at the moment. As you know, she would be giving birth to a baby boy soon. And, what I can only say is that I am too excited at that, you know Aljone, becoming a grandpa later. Thanks to you lad." Hinawakan niya sa balikat si Aljone.
"Me, either. Thank you Dad Henry for being with us especially when I had my first stay here. I miss a lot of food and dine treats at this City of Dreams, you always call it that way."
"Well, City of Dreams and cravings, too. Well, what do you know, a lot of food and delicacies out there! Cheaper ones. You know Aljone it's not really enough to stay here without making it that longer. You see, every place here has a lot of new food and fine dining aside from travels and trips that I think you will truly enjoy more. We will book some schedules as soon as we find Doreen ready to come with us. But at the moment, you have to take your rest until we finally sort out the activities we shall make for your longer stay. Right? This time you will have a lot of it..." at inilagay na ni Henry ang mga bagahe ni Aljone sa likod ng sasakyan saka sila nagbiyahe pabalik.
Well, I should learn a lot now, especially expressing my self in the Welsh way, your tradition at Wales..." at nangiti si Aljone sa kausap niyang si Henry. Habang nagmamaneho si Henry, nagsubukan ang dalawa sa kaalaman nila sa dayalekto na ito.
"Gadewch i ni yn awry n dechrau siarad Cymraeg." Sambit ni Henry na ang ibig niyang sabihin ay, "Let us now start speaking Welsh."
"Sut mae dweud?" at tumingin siya kay Aljone.
