"so...uh what happened?" i asked
"huh?" dan says, looking up feom his phone.
"while i was..."
"oh, uh nothing really. it was quite boring actually." dan laughs a little
"oh okay."
"it sucks that you still have to say here for two more days."
"yeah, but they want to make sure im okay."
"so, uh wanna watch something?" he asks
"yeah."
"yuri on ice?"
"yes!"
dan stands up to get his laptop from a table on the other side of the hospital room and lays next to me on the bed.
