I'll Always Remember; Chapter 27

After finishing our dinner, Christian stood up. 

"May I have this dance?" he asks, offering his hand. 

"Sure" I nod and gave him my hand, he put his other hand bahind my waist while holding my other hand tightly. I put my other hand on his shoulder - it's like a fairytale.

"So you can dance" I compliment, giggling. He nods, "Mom taught me, it was hard though" he replies. 

"Stars are beautiful in this spot" I look at the night sky, "you're more beautiful" he whisper. My heart is racing, is this really Christian? 

"I've been wondering, why did you quit basketball?" I ask, not expecting for an answer. He just smiled at me "that's a secret" pushing me towards him, I can smell his wonderful fragrance.

"Why can't you see? You belong with me" he sings in a low voice. I gave him a laugh, then he grab something from his pocket "I almost forgot, my gift" pulling out a silver necklace - with a star inside a moon as a pendant. 

He walks over and put the necklace on me, I tremble as I feel his hands on my back. 

"Thank you, it's pretty" I responds, I don't know what to say. "I'm sorry I didn't bought you anything" I continue. "All I need is a 'yes'" he whisper.

I faced him, he's kneeling."I love you, Ches" he pause. "will you be my girl?" 

I can't believe it - he said those three words, the words i've been waiting to hear. 

My view became blur, tears are about to fall - tears of joy, happiness. 

"Yes!" I say proudly, he smiled, smiled like a kid. He hug me so tight that I'm already out of breath, "I love you too, Christian" hugging him back.
