I'll Always Remember; Chapter 16

We arrived in school, 30minutes early.

After Christian parks the car, I step outside already. I can feel that the girls around me are glaring - it wasn't my fault, living in a same house with him. I headed to our class already, not waiting for Christian.

I enter the room and sat down, Christian came in few minutes after I did. "Why didn't you wait for me?" he whisper, sitting behind me. Ms. Smith entered, as soon as she did, I didn't respond to Christian's question. "We are going to have a report; Literary report about Midsummer Night's Dream" she says, looking at her papers "Each group will have four members; one will summarize, one will make vocabulary words from Midsummer, one will make an insight and another one will illustrate" she pauses, "you can have my time to look for members and assign your duties, this will be past on Monday"

Everyone stood up and invite their friends, I look at Christian, girls are inviting him.

"Hey, want to be in our group?"

"You'll be perfect in ours"

"Join us , Chris"

They just want to be with Christian, I sigh.

"Hey, you have your group?" he asks, leaning his chin on my shoulders. I shake my head, "great! let's make one!" he happily say, standing up and sitting onto my table. "Hey! Jake, want to be with us?" I look who's he calling, it's a blonde guy. "Sure!" he yell, walking towards us.

"Jake this is Ches, Ches this is Jake" Christian introduce, putting his hand on my shoulder. "Hi" I greet, closing my book. "Hey, I've been dying to talk to you. I'm Jake Taylor"

Jake Taylor? Like Ashley Taylor? I stare at him, confused.

"I'm Ashley's twin brother" he adds, giving Christian a look, like he's teasing him. I look at where Ashley's sitting, she just sit in the corner, reading. "Hey, how bout Ashley for the last member?" I suggest, they both gave me a weird look. "What? Is it a bad idea?" I ask them, raising my brows. Jake shake his head, "a perfect idea" I look at Christian, he's not saying a word.

I stood up and went to Ashley's place, "hi" I greet, smiling at her. "Hey" she says, not looking at me. "Do you have a group? We are thinking if you could join us - Me, Jake and Christian" I say, giving Christian's name a tone. She almost drop her book, "r-really?" she hesitatingly says, I nod and she gave a smile "Sure"

I went back to my chair, "Ashley said yes" I look at Christian, he seems annoyed. "You alright?" I asks, he's worrying me. "Yeah I am" he mutter, going back to his chair.

"Hey, Jake" I call him, he sat in front of me. "Why did Christian and Ashley broke up?" I whisper curiously. "Ash cheated on him"
