I'll Always Remember; Chapter 14

We arrived home, good thing Auntie is still not here.

After eating our dinner that we ordered outside, I sat in the balcony. 

Hailey; Hey sweetie, It's good - well exhausting. My hands are getting dry, any tips on how to make them smooth? 

Hailey's getting older, I chuckle

Me; Use lotion, only way I know.

"Hey," Christian call, handing me an apple, "thanks" I say, smiling at him. "Hey, I'm sorry at my attitude earlier" I apologize, he looks at me "It's fine, not a big deal. You must've your reason" 

He looks up in the night sky, "stars are wonderful, aren't they?" I nod, "you love them?" he glimpse at me, "you?" asking my question back, "yes, I love heavenly bodies" he smiled "me too" 

"hey, since we're living together this past few days. Maybe we should know each other, tell me more about you" he continue. "without lies or secrets" 

Maybe it's a good idea, "I'm Aqua Francheska Collins, 16-years old, used to live in New York, my mom died and my dad is going to be married" I say, while eating my apple "again" I add. I look at him, he's smiling. "When's your birthday?" he asks, with apple stains on the side of his mouth. I took a napkin in my pocket and wipe it off. 

He stare at me, with a bit of a shock - maybe I can make him fall for me, instead me falling to him, I smile.

"It's on the 20th of January" I answer, smiling. "your turn" I continue. "Oh, yeah" he whisper, "I'm John Christian Lautner, 17-years old, birthday; September 06, living with my mom" he mutter. "Hey, I've been wondering this, where's Mr. Lautner and your brother?" he look at me with a surprise, he's eyes widen and he stare in the night sky.

"They're dead, long ago"  he whisper, 

My eyes widen, "sorry" I mutter. "How?" I add. "Plane crash, when I was still 13years old. This house used to be a lively one; Dad, Mom, me and Andrew. But then when Dad took Andrew with him to Tokyo for a short business trip, storm came and the plane their on crashed." he explain, It must've been painful.

A depressed look lies on his face, I notice some tears in the corner of his eyes. I stood up and hugged him, I don't know why but I feel like I'm should do it.

"Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy" I whisper to his ears. 

I loosen my hug a bit and look down on him, he suddenly kissed me on my lips - I can feel it's warmth, warmer than anything I've felt, his charm - I fell to it.
