With my parents back, everything was starting to feel back to normal, besides Solomon's absence of course.

Today Cordell and I were meeting up with one of Jonathan's producer's to discuss future works.

I got in my car and headed to the studio that was written on the address.

Once I arrived, I texted Cordell and he got out his car to greet me.

"Hey you ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Cordell and I walked into the studio and went into room 5.

We seen a man wearing a hat and shades bopping his head to a beat he created.

"Hello" we both said walking in.

"Hey hey! What's up."

"Nothing, you Spike?" Cordell asked

"Ahaha, yeah that's me. Meadow Brooks and Cordell Jameis right?"

"Yup." I responded

"Great great, take a seat."

Him and I both took a seat on the couch in the back of the studio.

He rotated in his chair and leaned back.

"So, I guess I'll start by asking if you two want to actually make your song official?"

Cordell looked at me. "It's up to you Mead."

"Umm, if we do what happens."

"Well, we'll sign an agreement to work together, process what you guys already have and take it to the next level. Once it's complete we'll get it out to local stations and social media and hopefully it'll be a success."

"How often do we have to record."

"Probably need Cordell once or twice but I'll probably need to see you regularly for vocals."

"How regular?"

"Uhh, probably 3 or 4 times a week. Depending on your availability and mines. But that's only so we can get it done and over in hopefully 2 weeks or so."

"Oh okay." I said.

"We paying for these sessions?" Cordell asked.

"Nah, I owe Jonathan a favor so consider yourselves lucky."

Cordell nodded "Anymore questions?"

"Nope." I said.

Spike pulled out a paper. "Just need the both of your signatures and we'll be well on our way."

I took a deep breath and signed the paper.

Cordell did as well.

"Great. We can start day in three days at 6:00. Cool?"

"Yeah, see ya then." I stood up.

I couldn't believe I was going to actually record a legit song.

Cordell walked me to my car. "Look at this, you're getting a crazy opportunity to make your own music."

"I know right."

"Well drive safe, text me when you get home."

I waved him off and got in my car to leave.

I drove to the library, not to study but to clear out my mind.

When I got there I went to my usual spot and pulled out a book to read.
