This was it. Today was the day to put the plan into action. Gene and Travis had rested properly, eaten well, and were well prepared for the journey they were going to make. They were close to the boarder or Ru'aun, and to Jackson. They had tracked Jackson's truck well. He was working with a group of mercenaries called, "The Black Poison". The group was made up of twenty men and one woman, named Fallon Rose. Fallon had several charges on her: Breaking and Entering, Manipulation of security devices, first and second degree murder, child endangerment, drug possession, and smuggling. When she was caught, she'd be on Death Row for certain. This plan would be full proof.
Gene and Travis had a team of their own...for what they could afford. It wasn't exactly cheap, ya know. It was small, but they had every member they needed to see this through.
Travis looked at a wallet picture he had. It was a selfie he took with Melody. They had made goofy faces while on a roller-coaster. He smiled at the picture. Don't worry, Melody. We're coming.
"Okay, Ally. Are you ready?"
"Yup!" Ally sat on the floor.
Melody closed her eyes and concentrated on the spell. She muttered the words slowly, so she didn't mess up. She felt the cool sensation of the magic flow from inside her and out of her finger tips. After the spell was preformed, Melody opened her eyes. Just as planned, Ally was a cat. She was a short haired brown tabby cat with her emerald green eyes. She wore a scarf like collar on her neck, with a name tag which had her first and last name on it. Melody attached a small note to it.
"There, now the door should be opening soon. When it does, hide in the center of us, so they don't see you, then when you're out, run."
Ally meowed and nodded her head. When the doors opened, she hid in the crowd. Melody and the others stood up. Everyone knew the plan and kept Ally hidden. They all exited the truck and Melody caught a glimpse of Ally darting off, but kept looking forward, as not to arouse suspicion. You got this, Ally!
Travis, Gene, and their small group of mercenaries were headed towards where Jackson's group was when a dark brown tabby cat ran in front of their car. Gene slammed on the breaks.
"Gene what the heck?!" Travis choked, not seeing the cat.
Gene unbuckled and jumped out to make sure he hadn't hit the cat. The cat mewed urgently at him, pawing at him and rubbing against him. "What is it?" Gene noticed the note stuck in her collar. She held still, her tail wavering back and forth. Gene opened the note. It was written in Melody's handwriting.

Gene clutched the note. Travis came over and read it. Melody... Gene pet Ally's head. "Thank you, Ally. Let's get you home." He turned to the mercenaries. "There's been a change of plans."
Gene picked Ally up and gently put her in the car. He and Travis got in, and he drove back towards town. About halfway there, Ally turned back into a human girl, and they seated her properly in the car.
