She drew in a deep breath, sighing out as she gripped the cold, iron gate with her bare hands. It was calming for her racing heart. Why am I so nervous? She shook away the nerves and crossed the thin blanket of snow. She had three different colored tulips in her hands. One baby blue, baby pink and baby green. She walked to the grave stones and pulled out the vases, standing them up and put the pink in her mother's, the green in Jason's, and the blue in Jackson's. She stood back.

The tears came, quick and ever-flowing. Her shoulders shook and she held herself in a hug. She sobbed quietly, trying to blink the tears away and reassure herself that it was okay. That they were okay. Everything was going to be okay. She still had family, and they were still here for her. They were safe, they weren't hurting anymore.

She felt arms wrap around her, but saw no one. It was comforting to her, to know they were there, or at least the thought of it. She took a deep breath and wiped her tears away. "I love you, all three of you." She whispered.

"You okay, Kid?" The grave keeper asked with a concerned face.

"Y-yeah...just, uh, saying goodbye..." She said softly, still wiping her tears, a sniffle breaking up her words.

He came over, and gave her a comforting pat on the shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll make sure their resting places are well taken care of." He reassured.

"T-thank you, Sir, that means the world to me." She smiled a bit. "I-I should get going, my Parents will be expecting me..."

He nodded. "Take care."

"Thank you, be safe." She nodded respectfully towards him before leaving the cemetery.

Her trip home was pretty nice. The snow still gleamed on the ground around her, sparkling in the sunlight. She sighed, her shoulders relaxing as a puff of white showed as her breath in front of her. It always mesmerized her how her breath shown in the cold, winter air.

As she walked through the front door she let a sigh of relief escape her mouth as the heat waved over her. She closed the door and took off her winter gear, left in her sweater and jeans. "I'm back!" She called as she let her hair out of her hat.

"Welcome home, sweetpea!" Zane called from the kitchen, the sink running. He's cleaning the dishes, she assumed with a shrug.

Melody joined her Mom, Aphmau, on the couch. Aph was showing a bit now. She inwardly fangirled. She was excited to meet her new sibling when they came in 8 months. The last month had dragged on for what seemed like forever.

"When do we get to find out the gender?" She groaned. Aph giggled.

"2 more months, hon."

"But that's so lonnnnnnnnnnnng." Melody whined childishly.

"It'll be here before you know it." Aph reassured with an amused look on her face. They sat there in comfortable silence before Aphmau spoke again, in a soft and low voice. "How'd it go?"

Immediately Melody knew she was referring to the graves. Melody gave her a small smile. "They got Dad's headstone just right." Tears threatened to spill over again, but she swallowed them down.

No more tears.

Aphmau kissed her forehead, making her smile again, and hug her. Melody heard the water in the kitchen turn off and Zane came in, wearing a light gray shirt and jeans. Melody gasped dramatically.
