Saphira's POV

"Father would not approve of spying" I tell my brother as I saw him watching Tauriel talk to Kili. "He is a good dwarf and friend" I say as I stood beside Legolas. He nodded his head acknowledging my presence, but continued to look at Tauriel. "You like her do you not" I say.

"Maybe, but father would never allow it" Legolas informed me. "I am to escort you tonight to the feast. Father will announce your return and crown you the Princess of the Woodland Realm" he explained.

"Yes, he is sending maids to help me get ready. I will see you tonight my brother" I say in the common tongue before leaving.

(that night)

I have just finished putting on my dress and doing my hair for the feast. Tonight Father would announce my return and crown me the princess of the Woodland Realm. I wore a long green dress and my hair was brushed hanging loose down my back. There was a knock at the door "come in" I say in elvish.

Legolas entered the room "you look beautiful my sister" he says in the common tongue smiling at me. The maids had already left to help with the final preparation for the feast and my coronation. "It is time" he states holding his arm out to me.

"Is it ok for me to be nervous?" I ask him.

"Yes it is, but I'll be with you all night or father will. So do not worry" Legolas assures me. We then left the room together heading to the ballroom I suppose. Soon we reached large oak doors where soft music was coming from.

The doors were opened for us by guards inside the room. Everyone turned to look at us as we entered the room. They bowed as we walked over to our Father there were quiet whispers going through the crowd. "My people, I am delighted to announce that my Daughter and your Princess has been returned to us. Allow me to introduce Princess Saphira of the Woodland Realm" father declares placing a circlet on my head.

Everyone cheered at the news and then celebrated even more then before. Legolas and I danced the father danced with me. Many people came up to me welcoming me home. As the night drew to an end as the sun rose I sat beside my father. Legolas had left to when Tauriel whispered something in his ear. It looked urgent.

(No ones POV in the dungeons a few minutes before)

The dwarves were complaining about never reaching the mountain in time. While Kili sat in deep thought of what Tauriel had told him during their conversation. Apparently the elves were having a feast celebrating the stars and also the return of their princess. But the only female elf he'd seen enter the kingdom was Saphira.

But she couldn't be the princess that would make Thranduil her father. The elf who turned his back on the dwarves of Erebor in their time of greatest need. Kili knew not where Saphira was, but knew she must be trying to set him and his fellow dwarves free. "We'll never reach the mountain" one of his companions said.

"Not in there you're not" said a second voice and Bilbo appeared. The dwarves cheered happily until Bilbo told them to be quiet. He then let them all out using the keys he'd stolen. Once they were all out he lead them down into the cellars telling them to get into the empty barrels. They did so reluctantly and Bilbo pulled a lever telling them to hold their breath.

(back to party)

Saphira's POV

Suddenly there was the sound of a horn going off outside. "What is going on Father?" I ask him as we stood up. He turned to me looking conflicted on weather or not to tell me.

"The dwarves are escaping, but do not worry my daughter Legolas will have them brought back shortly" he informed me. "Now why don't I show you to your room" he suggests holding out his arm. I nodded my head and took his arm as he lead me away from the ball room.
