The run

Chapter 1

Its 7:00am now and I just woke up to get ready for school.I do my normal morning routine which consists of bathing and brushing my teeth.I wear black jeans and a red sweatshirt with #freaky on it with a pair of pink hightops.I don't even know why I wear pink cause I'm not a big fan but whatever.I also apply light mascara and plain lipgloss and head downstairs.I turn to my brother Aaron Brown and glare at him.if looks could kill he would be six feet under.Did I forget to mention we are twins.we both have white hair and blue eyes.Yeah....."oh my God,I'm soo sorry Kenzie."he says in between laughs."I didn't mean to hit you with the football.""Well you kinda did.Anyways why are you playing with a football in the house?"I snap.He starts laughing at the small bruise forming on my cheek and I just scowl.l walk to the kitchen to prepare a bowl of cereal and eat it quickly and head out to school with my idiot of a brother because I don't have a car yet and I cant drive his car without him.

My mother was the prettiest black American I had ever seen. She died last year when I was in eleventh grade.Since then I was broken but I never showed it. My dad left my mum when Aaron and I were young so I've hated him ever since.I learnt how to conceal my feelings. The only person who knew about the incident except for my brother was my best friend,Kylie Anderson.
On my way to my locker,I saw Kylie,as beautiful as ever,waiting for me.She was wearing black and white Adidas converse, black high-wasted shorts with gold zips,a white sleeveless fishtail shirt with 'ATTITUDE' written in black and to top it off her dark brown wavy glossy hair with some red lipstick and mascara.When I approach her she had a big grin on her face."Hi,nice outfit." "Yeah,I just bought it yesterday and as you can see I'm rocking this outfit."she says and takes two selfies and posts it on instagram.I just roll my eyes at her and take my books I need for my first lesson,pre-calcus."Are you excited about starting twelth grade?"kylie asks.
"Yeah,I guess."I reply."Hey,we have pre-calculus together right?" I didn't hear a response so then I turn and see the three badboys walking down the hallway.They are all devilishly handsome.Everyone froze and stared at them in awe.The one in the middle is the one and only,que the drum roll,Ethan Grey.He has lovely black hair that you can tell he's run his hand in it too many times.He has nice tanned skin and lime green eyes that makes girls swoon.He walks up to the queen B a.k.a slut of the school and kisses her soo hard you could barely see her face and he pulls away and continues walking down the hallway."that's disgusting"I mutter under my breath and he glances at me and winks and one of his friends,Connor Welch does the same to kylie and she just stares back at him taking in his bleach blond hair and navy blue eyes.Kylie looked very shocked and I just stared at the two boys dumbfounded then I finally spoke up."Come on kyle,we'll be late for class."and we both headed for class.

Class ended quite early and all we did was assignments so it was pretty boring.As I'm taking the books I will need for my next class from my locker and Kylie approaches me."Are you ready to go?I think we have biology. "
"Yeah,wait just one sec."I pulled out my phone and saw a message from my brother.

I'm skipping school.something came up so let Kylie give you a lift
home.

Ok.I reply and turn off my phone

"I'm ready"I say to Kylie and we start rushing to class but me being the clumsy person I am bump into someone's chest and my books fall down.My eyes are wide and I start apologizing like a maniac to scared to look at my victim and I look at Kylie and her brown eyes with gold flecks are wide with shock and fear.I look up at the victim and my breath catches in my throat. I just bumped into Ethan freacking Grey.I quickly pick up my books with a flustered look and quickly say another sorry and walk fast towards biology class with Kylie.
