The run

Chapter 18

Mackenzie's pov
My whole body feels numb and my vision is blurred and unfocused. I get off the cold ground I was lying on and my head begins to spin so I sit down and lean against the wall. I hear someone clear their throat but I ignore the person.

"Francis wants to see you. Now!"
Another one of Francis minions says. I groan in pain and stand up while he removes the chain's of my wrists. He drags me towards Francis office. He opens the door and shoves me in as I wince in pain.

"W-what do you w-want?" I say out of breath and in pain.

"There's something I need to show you." He says with an evil smirk.

"What!" I say tired of his tricks. He turns his computer towards me. The screen is blank but all of a sudden I see a video of my mother being beaten by my 'dad' and her pleading for him to stop.  I get stiff and I suddenly feel like all the oxygen is being sucked out of my lungs.

"Wait don't cry now. Save your tears for later." Francis says. Another video starts playing and its of my mother being beaten and shot to death! I start remembering what happened to my mother on my birthday in her room. When she was killed. I start to feel dizzy as the tears literally flow out of my eyes. I start hearing my mother's voice from my nightmare blaming me in my head. I cover my ears and start yelling 'stop' but the voices don't stop. The next thing I remember is me crumbling  down on the ground in sorrow and pain.

Ethan's pov
I call everyone to our basement for a meeting.

"Guys, can I get your attention." I say to get everyone to stop wondering why their here.

"Long story short for those of you who don't know Mackenzie is in trouble so I have finally come up with a plan to save her and her brother. They obviously know we're going to sneak in so we won't sneak in." I say

"How are we not sneaking in. That place has high security so it's gonna be hard" Grayson says.

"That's why we're just going to walk in. They'll be taken by surprise since they woud be busy guarding air vents, the roof but the least thing they'll expect is us walking through their front door." I say proud of the plan I was able to come up with.

"Ok, let's do it." Josh answers for them.
