This wedding had to be the biggest event on the entire island, I mean it was the pirate empress who was getting married after all! The most beautiful and cold hearted woman in the world! There wasn't a single person left unaware of this day.

But the thing was, YOU were the other bride!

You were nothing but another common soldier like the rest of the girls here, well...okay maybe not that common.

Not only were you the only high ranking officer in the royal guard that didn't swoon all over her with every chance, you were actually quite proud of that, but you even got a nickname from your ruthless reputation, '(Y/N) the white knight' known for your quick painless kills.

You got this name from your devil fruit the shiro shiro no mi.

This devil fruit allowed you to transform into a gorgeous holy being with feathery wings and a pure white, gold and red armor that protected you from the unholy darkness of evil, sure it sounded very exaggerated but it was a mythical zoan, not much could be done to prevent rumors.

Even though you've been told otherwise many times, you didn't think you looked very pretty, if anything...you were sure you were hideous, or flawed in some way, you had to have been.

Every time you transformed everyone would stare at you..especially the empress, it was just so mortifying being the center of attention in battle all of the time, the whispers that would circle around you whenever you turned your back, the faces you would receive when trying to make a normal conversation with a fellow warrior, it was terrible.

Since nothing else could be done, you almost never took off the armor, it was the only way to cover up your many even more hideous, ragged scars, although it seemed to have made the empress even more aggressive towards you.

You sighed as you looked yourself in the mirror...what did she see in you? Was this all even real? Like what was going on? Or did you accidentally eat one of those weird mushrooms? Maybe you would have preferred it if this was just a hallucination.

The armor was feeling way too loose and stuffy today! Wait, can it even be those two things at once? Well it was! And not only that, but you were wearing this to a flipping wedding!! Well yu could always switch it up with the dress selected for you, but it showed off too much skin, damn, this was a complete disaster..

You depressingly moved a (H/L) bang away from your moist eyes and sighed at your reflection, you silently picked yourself apart while your (E/C) orbs skimmed over your skin, you continuously noticed in each second how your whole head didn't have enough of a distinctive shape, how your lips were always chapped, how your hair constantly looked either too messy or too straight, just when you got to your chest a quiet knock sounded on your door in a rushed, almost hectic way.

"(Y/N)-sama! The wedding's about to begin!" You recognized the voice as Sonia when she shouted from the other side, one of the empress' beloved younger sisters, she has been relatively friendly with you before, but that was no reason to let your guard down.
