Reader X Hawkins: The Magician's Bride

Heyo, a fan requested this and I just couldn't turn down a good challenge since there's so little we know about little Hawkie (^W^)

Now, let's get one thing straight here.

This whole wedding was a bad idea, an idea which you expected to 100% crash and burn into a pile of smoldering ashes and leave nothing but broken hopes and dreams.

You were about to marry Hawkins, Basil Hawkins, THE MAGICIAN OF BLACK FREAKING MAGIC AND THE MAN WHO HAS A WHOLE CREW OF-OF CULT WEIRDOS!!

And because of this you completely refused to follow the freaking traditions and skipped out on the creepy wedding dress as you shoved on your baby blue toque around your twisted horns with a gruff frown.

This whole wedding wasn't even run by you first! Hawkins just one day decided to have a conversation and 'asked' for your hand in marriage almost like it was the weather you were talking about.

See, sure Hawkins did attract you in a...way, but you just so happened to be a very superstitious demon.

This wedding was happening on Friday the thirteenth, there were freaking black cats crawling all over this stupid island, it was a full moon and almost midnight, instead of tossing doves into the sky the crew was planning on smashing a bunch of mirrors simultaneously...you could keep going.

Long story short, this was going to be a bundle of nerves for you.

A raven's ominous caw made you shudder as you sneaked a peek out of the castle window and quickly paled, down in the cemetery it was decorated with strange skulls of all kinds and oddly colored candles, the 'alter' looked like some gateway for the other demons of the underworld to escape through.

...Yep you were so done with this.

Not being able to handle all of the unsettling feelings deep down you marched for the door and jerked it open only to run into one of the hooded crew members.

"Ms (L/N)! Where is your spider silk dress!? It's almost midnight and the chanting is nearly complete!" You only shivered at that last part and quickly shook your head in refusal.

"NOPE, NOPE, NOPE I REFUSE TO GO WITH THIS CRAZINESS ANYMORE!!" You used your bat wings to shove him aside only to abruptly bump into another hard chest.

You looked up and internally cringed up at the expression of your monotone captain, "what is the issue here (Y/N)?" He asked.

"What's the problem!? The problem is this whole marriage! It's creepy, it's practically oozing bad luck!, I don't even know if I even wanna go with this at all!" Hearing the noise some of the other crew members came to see what the kerfuffle was about.

Hawkins' eyes slightly widened but it must have been your imagination when you blinked and he still looked at you the exact same.

You grew confused when he cupped both your cheeks and rubbed them with his thumbs, lovingly?

The confusion only increased when he bent down and kissed you.

At first your eyes both immediately glowed red and went ablaze with mounting shock as your wings sprung up in reaction as the gathered crew members gasped in surprise.

But after awhile you melted into the kiss and gently wrapped your wings around his taller frame, after the kiss ended no more words were needed as you two gazed into the others stare.

"Let the wedding commence.." he mumbled in a daze.

Okay, and the guy also had a way with you that could only be described as black magic, but even if he was to go to hell for all this voodoo, at least you'd be able to follow him there.
