You stumbled around the tiny forest, (E/C) orbs widening in mortification hearing a thick snap, glancing down, you winced seeing a giant tree having been splintered down by your foot.
Sometimes you really wished this world wasn't so- ungiant friendly.
As long as you could remember, being raised by your human caretakers near the beginning of the New World, you've never found a place that could accommodate your size.
You always ended up crushing somebody's house in towns, you trampled over forests, even the ocean wasn't big enough apparently.
Feeling enormous tears pricking your eyes, you stomped away from the trail of mass destruction you've left behind and continued on exploring the unnamed island.
When you were a kid, your human parents told you amazing stories of a place called Elbaf- an actual place for those of your kind, like actually big and everything.
Of course you grew up with the dream of finding Elbaf and finding where you truly belonged in the world.
Though- feeling your face scrunch up when you stubbed your toe against another boulder, you were kinda regretting your life decisions.
At least at home you had your parents- and a bed that almost fit.
Wandering over a decently sized mountain- just a big hill to you, your eyes blinked at the horizon, seeing a human town along a coast.
As ready as you ever could be, you headed for the town, hoping to find anyone who would be willing to give you directions- and maybe a new ship.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The stares of awe and fear didn't bother you much anymore, watching the small beings run into their homes and hide in alleys did kinda sting though, but this behavior wasn't new, nor is this the last you would come across it.
Finally seeing a small posse of men meekly come to greet you, your eyes easily zoomed in the clean and proper man with a pale face being huddled by his bodyguards.
"You must be the mayor" the thin man squeaked at your acknowledgement and flinched back, "w-what business does a giant have with me?"
Not bothering to take any steps closer seeing his trigger happy looking men, you shook your head, "ah no, I don't have any business here, I was just hoping I could find someone to build me a ship and give me directions to Elbaf" one soldier gave you a cocky grin, "eh? A giant that doesn't even know how to get home?" You frowned offended, "I never said I was from Elbaf"
The human man stood down at that, the mayor though, grinned cheerily, "y-you just need someone to build you a ship?! Alright then! Please do not worry giant! I shall have all the shipwrights build you a fine ship! And I shall see that our navigators find you the best map to Elbaf"
Knowing he just wanted to get rid of you as fast as possible, you still felt bad on taking advantage of the town with your frightening appearance and crouched down, "no, no, that all won't be necessary-" "I insist!" Frowning at the beads of sweat going down his neck, you clicked your tongue in defeat.
"I only ask for the ship, the map won't be needed" last time you checked your map before it was destroyed, you were fairly close to Elbaf now, if everything you remembered was correct, then you were in between Elbaf and an archipelago called Totto land.
Allowing the human guards to herd you out of the town, you took in a deep, lonely breath watching them give you looks of fright and prejudice.
What you wouldn't give to find Elbaf soon.
