Reader X Sabo: Let's Keep It A Secret Pt2

Sabo strained his ears as he silently crept throughout the thick forest, almost immediately after chasing after you in the vegetation, you swiftly evaded his sight and the blue gentleman was now scowering over and under every nook and cranny to find his beloved and still wife-to-be.

Just when he was beginning to lose his hope, a heart wrenching sob caught his ear, the blonde whirled his head in the cry's direction and immediately bolted towards it with his heart in his throat, he even went to as far as burning down all the trees and vegetation in his path, leaving a flaming trail in his wake.

With a relentless devotion, he didn't stop in his near blind charge even while his legs started to buckle underneath him with every second step the revolutionary made, each foot forward almost drove him down into collapsing into the center circle of the hell known as failure and heartbreak, or also known as possibly losing your love.

But with a loud and clear battle cry filled with determination at the thought with your very name on his lips, Sabo burst through the last oak tree in his way and violently collapsed in a brutal tumble through the grass, all of his energy was finally depleted, no longer could he bear to even speed walk, let alone run, but even though he couldn't, he didn't need to anymore, because there you were in all your ruined glory.

Your silky sky blue dress was gritty and stained from the sand that was kicked up on it and damp around the chest with a huge stain that looked like a prom gone wrong, your silken (H/C) tresses that once looked almost like perfect woven yarn strands was now similar to a messy bird's nest with a few crumpled leaves and bark pieces stuck in it from rushing through the woods, and your face..Sabo felt a sting of annoyance seeing a small trail of red go down it, during your run you accidentally received a tiny gash on the cheek, and it bugged him greatly that you got hurt, even if it was such an insignificant wound that would only mildly scar on your fair (S/C) skin.

"(Y/N) it's alright, I know you're upset...and so am I, but you don't have to run off...I'm here for you (Y/N)" you trembled at his gentle and understanding voice, sometimes you wondered if you deserved such a considerate gentleman like Sabo, and you even had the nerve to run off on your wedding day too.

You looked up to see the blonde staring down at you with a worried and almost anxious frown, like your next reaction could change his fate for either the very better, or for the far worse, this almost made you feel like the all powerful judge about to decide on a criminal's life sentence, "I-I'm so *sniff* sorry S-Sabo" with a tight grip around his tattered waist, you softly cried into his equally as ruined tux, at least you could spend these moments together as well, even if your not yet married.

Sabo tenderly smiled down at your battered figure as you softly laughed up at him with a dazzling smile that shone like the ever brightening stars, this day may not be remembered as your one and only wedding day, but if something, this event just brought the two of you even closer together as inseparable lovers.

Just when the other was about to make another lighthearted joke, you both paused once you returned to the beach...and once again you almost felt like crying this time, instead of the war zone looking mess of a beach you were expecting, it was once again restored into the almost pure white beauty from before, only this time, instead of using candles as light, some strange glowing substance was coming in from the waves and illuminating the beach in a beautiful blue hue.

Everyone from the revolutionary army was there, standing side by side and unnoticeably sweating in nervousness with Hack blushing in a strange priest outfit that was clearly rushed, Ivankov and Koala were both dressed in matching purple dresses while Dragon approached the two of you with a normal scowl.

"W-We..well...what I'm trying..to say is...we're sorry about earlier" the raven sighed in defeat, "we were being so nosy and rude to the two of you and your relationship, and now we even went to as far as to ruin your wedding...we only hope this is good enough?" The boss bit his lip in disappointment at himself and lowered his head in depression.

From your forgiving nature, you easily accepted the apology and hugged the older man before giving him a peck on the cheek and a knee kick in the gut with a blank slate expression, "that's for always teasing Sabo~" you happily chimed with a fake smile.

Hack only sweat dropped from underneath all the itchy layers of messy cloths sewn together, while few men in the audience protectively gripped onto their own stomachs in case you suddenly felt like punishing every single person who ever made fun of the blonde ever, and lets just say there's a lot of them.

But you didn't do that, instead you cheerfully laced your hands together with Sabo's always gloved ones and gave him an appreciative peck on the lips, "come on big boy, it's time to get hitched!~"
