"Be civilized about this-"

"Oh shut up," I smile.

Goodness, the boy's got me wrapped around his finger. It's annoying as crap.

He's been home for a month, and we've been raising four kids together since.

We kiss occasionally, but only in front of the kids and for them. So they don't mean anything to me anymore.

Lucas and I have come to a position where we trust each other, and I've learned to tolerate him.

"Holy crap Lucas!" I shout.

His head snaps up. "What?"

"Look at Bethie!" I squeal.

"Oh my-"

"Good job baby!" I smile at her.

My little four month old is sitting up by herself.

I smile over at him, and he smiles back. I take his hand.

"You know what Huckleberry?" I ask him.

"What?" He smiles. I haven't called him Huckleberry in ages.

"This is actually working out. We're actually doing a good job."

Riley Matthews-Minkus' POV

"Riles? What's wrong?" Farkle asks.

I turn over, and stare at him. "Just sick."

"You've been like this all week. Can I take you to a doctors at least?"

"Farkle, I'm fine."

I squeeze my eyes shut, and hold onto my stomach.

For about a week, I've had intense pain in my stomach. Along with crazy nausea, and a crushing feeling that constantly makes me want to scream.

"Riley..."

"Farkle! Stop annoying me. It's annoying."

"Look honey-"

She gets up out of bed, and walks to the bathroom.

"I really don't want to hear about it!"

I take off my clothes and hop into the shower, closing the curtain.

Farkle walks into the bathroom, and he begins to brush his teeth.

"All I'm suggesting is to go to the doctor," He sighs.

"No."

"Riley!" He whines.

"Farkle!" I mock.

"Look, I love you. I want to make sure you're okay."

"I am okay," I sigh.

"I'm smart," Farkle replied.

I rub the shampoo into my scalp and grunt at his arrogance.

"I'm pretty sure I'm well aware of that, honey," I smirk.

"I'm smart, and I can see the signs all throughout you," Farkle says.

I finish washing my hair and body, and turn the water off.

"Pass me my towel."

He throws the towel over the railing, and I catch it. Drying off my body.

"Riley-"

"As you were saying?"

"I can see the signs," He insists.
