"Oh my fucking gosh," I mutter. "Really Riley?! Farkle?!"
She stares at the floor, ashamed.
As much as the couple calls themselves married, they aren't. And Riley's only seventeen, and still very immature. I didn't even think she knew how baby's were made....
"This project is messed up," I say. "I'm leaving."
"Lucas!" Riley calls out.
"No," I call back, walking out the door. "This is too much."
But she persists on, just like how she always does. I should've known.
Riley follows me out of the room, and chases me down the clear hall until she's got me cornered.
"Why are you acting like this?" She asks.
"Because..."
"Because?"
"I'm just disappointed, that's all!"
Riley scoffs. "C'mon Lucas Friar, it's not like you and rebel Maya Hart haven't done anything. Why should you be judging me? She might be pregnant too! Maybe that's why she left!"
I laugh out loud, just a touch too loud and a touch too sarcastic.
"Hell no Riley!" I yell. "Maya and I were only happy for a few days, she didn't even let me kiss her! We bickered too much!"
"Well sorry your relationship didn't turn out!"
"Riley, go back to Farkle and get your bitchy pregnant hormones away from me. I'm going home with my kids that I did not create, so goodbye!"
With that, she stomps away, clearly angered.
Guilt bubbles up in me right away, and I rush back over towards her, crushing her in a hug.
"I'm sorry Riles."
"I'm sorry too," She whispers. "I'm sorry for assuming things."

Maya Hart's POV {The Friar's gone 😩😩😭}
The weight of well, everything, crushes me.
I miss Lucas.
I miss Elizabeth.
I miss Isaac.
I miss Grace.
I miss Bethany.
And my shin hurts.
I lay in my bed, bawling. But I can't go back now, I already filled out the paperwork, and I've already quit.
My head pops up as someone creaks into the bedroom.
"Baby girl?"
"Ya Mom?" I ask in between sobs.
"You have a visitor."
"I don't want to see anyone!"
She nods her head, and leaves e alone to cry.
