*Meredith's POV

When Bennett and I got to our houses we said are goodbyes while hugging and went into our own houses.

Right as I walked in my mom greeted me with a huge smile. "Hi honey! How was your first day of school?"

"It was good! What time are the boys suppose to be getting home?"

"They should be home in about 10 minutes."

"Okay and I made a lot of new friends today! One's name is Alex. He wants me to hang out. Can I?"

"That's great! Is Alex your boyfriend?"

I mentally face palmed myself. "No mom he's just a friend. I mean come on I just met him today! But can I?" She laughed. "Of course you can. Just be back before dark!"

"Okay thanks!" Now I have to text Alex.

Hey Alex it's Meredith!

I put my phone down so I could change but shortly after I put it down I had a new text message. From Alex... whoa he replies fast. To be honest I was expecting the text to be from Bennett.

From Aleexxx(:

Took you long enough! (: lol but are we still on for basketball?

To Aleexxx(:

Yeah my mom said yes!

He texted back with his address and told me that when I get to his house just go to his back yard.

I looked at what I was wearing and changed right away because my clothes were not basketball appropriate. So I changed into red basketball shorts, a red sports bra, a black flowy tank top, red hyper dunks, and I put my hair into a braided back high pony tail. When I was satisfied with my appearance I had my mom take me to his house.

It turns out he lives right around the corner. I could walk to his house! And let me tell you his house was pretty big!

"Bye mom! Love you! I'll text you when I'm on my way home!"

"Okay! Have fun! Love you too!"

I got out of the car and made my way to his backyard. I opened the gate an saw that he wasn't alone. Bennett, Robert, Zach, and himself were back there. I thought it was just suppose to be us two but I like all them so I don't mind.

"MEREDDITHHH!!!!" He ran towards me and literally tackled me. "Well it's nice to see you too Alex." I said while laughing. He got up and offered me his hand which I took. He started to laugh. "Sorry Mer I didn't mean to tackle you. It was suppose to be a hug but I put to much strength into it."

"Oh your fine!"

"Girl I know I am." He said that in the most girly tone he could. We all ended up erupting into laughter. God I love this kid!

After we all calmed down a recognizable voice said "What's so funny?" We all turned around to see Austin standing there clueless. Great he's here.

"Oh nothing just Alex being gay. The usual." Zach said gaining our laughs. "Dude. That hurts." Alex said while holding his heart as if he was heart broken.

"So are we going to play basketball or naaahhhh?" I said while gaining their attention.

"Yeah we are but you princess can sit out and cheer or somethin." Austin did not just go there.
