Chapter 11

Title- Surprise, Surprise

Austin's POV

"What the hell was that?!" Meredith yelled. God that was weird. Man why did I ever date her.

Bennett finally spoke up "It- it's nothing babe. You know she's just jealous of you. She just wants to get a rise out of you. Just ignore it. Come on lets go eat." Ummm that doesn't sound like nothing. "Whatever you say, babe." Meredith gritted out. At least I'm not the only who thinks something isn't up.

We walked to the cafeteria and we all sat down. I was really surprised when Meredith sat next to me instead of Bennett. He gave us a cold look but Meredith returned it with a devious smile. God I love her. Why can't she just be mine.

Meredith's POV

I'm not stupid I know something's up. I had to choose between sitting beside Austin or Bennett so I chose Austin because I like him way better at the moment. Bennett gave us a cold look but I returned it with a smart alic smirk.

The next thing I knew my eyes were covered. "Guess who!" The person said. It was a boy. "Ummm Justin Bieber?" I said jokingly. "Nope even better!" he uncovered my eyes and I turned around to see Zach. He had a box in his hand "Happy Birthday Thugger." I laughed and opened the box. He got me a Diamond Company sweatshirt that I've been wanting for like ever! I jumped up and hugged him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!" He laughed "No problem now can you let go of me because you're cutting off my circulation." I laughed then let go of him. "oops sorry!"

"So Meredith what are you doing for your birthday?" Sarah asked with a smirk on her face. "Umm I have to go to my birthday dinner with my family at 6."

"Where at?" Robert asked. "Some fancy restaurant that I have no clue what it's name is." they all looked at each other and smiled. Am I missing something? "Perfect. Will you need any help with your outfit, hair, and makeup?" Sarah said. "Yeah I was going to ask you later for help. So can you?" she nodded her head.

After school

Sarah rode the bus home with me and I sat next to Bennett because even though I'm mad I still love him. But he just ignored me the while time.

We walked in an I didn't see my mom so I yelled "Mom I'm home! oh and Sarah is going to help me get ready!" She yelled back an okay in return.

When we got into my too she went straight for my closet. While as I went for my bed. "This would be perfect!" I looked up and she pulled out a tight, white, one sleeve, body gripping dress and mint green pumps. "That is perfect!!!" She laughed "I know right!! When did you even get these?" the funny thing is I don't remember getting them. "I don't remember getting those... oh well they're cute!"

She curled the ends of my hair and she just finished my make-up. "You look hot." we both laughed. "Why thank you Sarah." I looked at the time and saw she finished just in time. I have 15 minutes until we leave for my birthday dinner.

"Well I'll see you later!" She said with a smirk. "When will you see me?" I said confused. Everyone has been acting so weird today! "You'll find out later." she winked and walked out of my room. Well then.

"Meredith time to go!!" my mom shouted. I yelled okay in return. I walked down the stairs to meet my brothers looking all spiffy and shit. "Dang y'all clean up good!" we all laughed. "Same goes for you little sis." Mitchell said. My mom entered the room and covered her mouth. "Mommy are you okay?" Mason asked. "Yes I'm fine. It's just that my baby's are growing up too fast." She wiped her tear. "Awww group hug!" I called. We all hugged her and each other. "Mom we will always be your baby's wether you like it or not." Bennett said jokingly. "Good." she said and smiled. We all pulled back. "Alright picture time!!!" She said and we all groaned.

After taking about a million pictures we left for the restaurant. I was going through all the pictures and found a bunch I liked so I put them in a collage and posted it to Instagram. the caption read We were broken and bent but we've come together again. I'm thankful to have them even my angle in heaven❤️ #RIPDaddy

I didn't care to pay attention to the likes because I was to busy thinking about my dad. He was my rock. I miss him so much but I know he's with me right now. I just can't help but think if he's proud of me right now. "Merediv we're here." Matt said. I nodded at him and held back my tears.

After dinner

We were all currently laughing out asses off because we were kicked out. "Mom-I-can't-believe-you-said-that-to-the-waitress!!" I said between laughter. The waitress was being a complete bitch so my mom told her to get her head out of her ass and go sniff some roses! "Well she was killing the mood!" we all laughed some more and got in the car.

"Since we didn't get to presents we will have to do them here!" my mom said. "That is fine by me but y'all really shouldn't of have!" I said. I honestly hate getting presents because I don't like people spending all there money on me. "Well we did so suck it up buttercup!" Bennett laughed out. "Well Matt and Mason you're first!" my mom said.

We finished with gifts and Mason and Matt made a video of them saying nice stuff about me and just being themselves. It was adorable and hilarious. Along with that they gave me a bracelet with small pictures of us three on it.

Mitchell got me a heart shaped silver necklace with a picture of all of us including my dad in the locket. That one got me in tears. I was so thankful for it though. It reminds me that even though he's not here with me physically he's here with me in my heart.

My mom got me a basketball goal that's going to be put in during the spring! I love basketball. It's my home away from home and it keeps me grounded.

Right now I'm blind foaled. Why I have no clue but the next place they're taking is a surprise. "Are we almost there yet?" I complained. "Yes actually we're here!" Mitchell said. "Can I take this off now?" I was getting annoyed. "Not just yet. But take my hand so I can guide you." I took his hand and we got out of the car. We walked up a few steps then he opened what sounded like a door then we stepped inside. "You can take it off now." I took it off and all I see is pitch black. "Uh Mitc-"

"SURPRISE!!!!!" A bunch of people jumped out of nowhere and scared the shit out of me... I may not may not have screamed...

A/C: This may be a boring chapter but I thought it was important to have her catch up with her family. This next chapter is about to be drama filled!!!! Comment what you think is going to happen!!!!!!
