*Meredith's POV

"I dare you to kiss Bennett." He smiled deviously. I sat there speechless and so did Bennett. Why would he dare me to kiss my bestfriend. What is wrong with him. I wouldn't care kissing anyone else but Bennett... really? Don't get me wrong I love Bennett but what if kissing him changes things. I hope not.

"What are you to chicken Monroe? If you don't want to kiss him then the alternative dare is to kiss me." There is no way in hell that I'd ever kiss Austin. "I guess I'll just kiss Bennett because there is no way in hell I'd kiss you. Not ever in a million years." I started to walk over to Bennett and he looked happy? I guess my comment on wanting to kiss him over Austin made him happy. "Alright let's just get this over with." we both started to lean in then finally our lips touched.

Fireworks went off.

Kissing him made me feel safe? wanted? happy? I don't know but kissing him made me have feelings for him. I guess we were kissing for a long time because I was starting to hear cheers, a door slam, and someone clearing their throat. That's when I decided to pull away. When I did we were looking each other in the eyes and I was biting my bottom lip and he had a huge grin plastered across his face. His white straight teeth were perfectly showing which made me want him more.

"Wow" he said still looking into my eyes. I giggled and blushed then turned my head to see Alex and Zach in awe so I guess they were the ones cheering. Then Austin sat there looking like he was about to barf so I'm taking it that he cleared his throat. But Robert was gone... he walked out... but why?

"Alright guys it's getting late so I think I should go. Bye Alex thanks for inviting me over!" Austin said while getting up and leaving. "Yeah bye Alex see you tomorrow at school. Thanks for having me over!" Zach got up and was now following Austin. Since everyone else was leaving I decided to leave to.

"I gotta get going Alex but thank you! I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Yeah imma leave to bye and thanks bro!" Bennett said while following me.

"No problem guys see you tomorrow!! Bye!!!!" Alex screamed loud enough to where everyone could hear. I started to laugh. I felt something rub my hand so I looked down to find Bennett holding out his hand for me to take. Which I gladly did. I am so curious on what Bennett is smiling about. What is going on through that boys mind?

"What are you all smily about?" I asked, my question must have caught him off guard because he didn't say anything. "Hello earth to Bennett!" he finally looked at me. He stopped.

"Hey Mer can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah sure anything."

"Did you feel anything between our kiss."

"To be completely honest... yes." everything just felt right between our kiss.

"Okay," that's all he can say is okay?Serioulsy?! Way to piss- my thoughts were cut off when a warm pair of minty lips touched mine and the fireworks went off. I kissed back admittedly. We kissed for about 8 more seconds until Bennett pulled back. He rested his forehead on mine and laced our fingers together on each hand sending chills throughout my body.

"I've been waiting so long to do that." he said while biting his lip.
