*Austin's POV

"OWWWWW!!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" Taylor had really managed to piss me off this time! She had no right to just come up and slap me in my face!

"Maybe next time you'll watch what you say around your girlfriend." she put extra sass onto the word girlfriend. I'm so confused... I didn't say anything to her...

"Oh you don't know," she said sarcastically. "I heard what you said about Meredith! But yet you never talk about your girlfriend that way!" is she serious right now? She's always treating me like crap! Now I'm extremely pissed.

"YOU WANNA KNOW WHY I NEVER TALK ABOUT YOU LIKE THAT?," she stood there clueless.

"BECAUSE HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO TREAT YOU LIKE A PRINCESS WHEN YOU TREAT ME LIKE SHIT!!!! YOU'VE TURNED ME INTO SOMEONE WHO I NEVER WANTED TO BE!"

"Bab-"

"Cut it out. Don't call me baby, babe, honey or any other type of shit like that. You know what, better yet don't even call me. We're over." I spat out. Man that felt good to say.

"Austin are you breaking up with me? Why?" She stood there with her arms crossed and giving me a dirty look.

"That's exactly what I'm doing. You've created a monster inside of me. I've pushed all my feelings away so that I wouldn't get hurt because you were never happy with me, you always had to get with someone behind my back. So I did the same so it looked like I didn't care. But in reality it hurt like hell. So I'm done Taylor. Just do me a favor and stay the hell out of my life." She started walking towards me but I just walked away.

Now I can get my life back on track. No more player Austin. The old Austin is back.

4 months later

*Meredith's POV

It's 2 days until my birthday. With all the shit that's been happening I'm not having a party. Bennett and I are still together but he's been distant for the past month. We barely text anymore, he's always making up excuses on why we can't hang out, he avoids me all the time and when I ask what's wrong he gets an attitude and walks off. I don't know how much more I can take! One day he says he loves me then the next he's ignoring me. Like what?!

But on the plus side Austin and I have gotten so close. He's been there through everything. He's became a new person. A person that I have come to like a lot. I think it's because he isn't with Taylor anymore. Speaking of the bitch I haven't seen her in forever. Thank the lord.

Right now I'm sitting in my room doing my homework and waiting for Bennett to come over. I hope he doesn't stand me up like yesterday. Or all the other days.

DING! DONG!

Looks like he remembered.

"I GOT IT!!!" I ran down to the steps and opened the door to see Bennett.

"What a surprise you actually showed up."

"I have something important to tell you.. can we go upstairs?" What's about to happen.

"Y-yeah come on." we got upstairs and he sat on my bed and I was leaning against my door.

"I'm sorry." That's all he has to say?Really.

"Do you really expect me to forgive you that easily? Bennett you are slowly breaking me. What has gotten into you lately? One second you're saying you love but then the next you're completely ignoring me! What the hell?! Make up your mind! Do you even want to be wi-" The next thing I knew his lips were on mine and his body had left no space between us. This is a side I've never seen before.

I like it.

We soon pulled back. "I'm sorry for making you feel this way. I know I've been a complete jackass towards you for the past month but I love you and I don't know what got into me. I'm so sorry, I really fucked up. I don't know what I would ever do without you... Meredith Anne Monroe can you please forgive me?"

"Of course now shut up and kiss me."

"Gladly." just like that he kissed me and our kiss soon turned into a make out session.

But of course his phone starts to go off. He pulled back and smiled at me. His smile disappeared and his faced turned into a sick pale when he looked at his phone.

"Hey uh babe I ha-have to take this. I'll be right back" he left my room and went into the bathroom. Wait he stuttered. He only stutters when he's trying to hide something. What in the world could he be hiding. I'm his girlfriend and his bestfriend! I deserve to know.

"Hey I have to go that was my...uh.. mom. Yeah my mom. I'll see you tomorrow by babe. I love you." okay what the hell is going on?

"Whatever. Tell your 'mom' I said hi." I aired quoted the word mom. And crossed my arms. He went for a kiss on my lips but I quickly turned my head and he ended up kissing me on the cheek.

"Okaaayy? I love you."

"I guess I love you too. Bye." I walked him to my door and as soon as he left I called Austin.

Austin😘- Hello?

Me- Hey!

Austin😘- What's up chicken butt?

Me- You're so childish haha but nothing much! Bennett just left.

Austin😘- .....oh

Me- Yeahhhh... okay so we all know that he's been acting weird lately but today he came over and apologized to me and blah blah blah. So we were kissing and he got a phone call and when he saw who it was he got pale and stuttered...

Austin😘- How pale? Like my ass pale or ghost pale?

Me- Your ass pale.

Austin😘- He's definitely hiding something.

Me- That's what I'm sayin! Not only that when he came back into the room he said and I quote 'Hey I have to go that was my...uh.. mom. Yeah my mom.' Now is that not suspicious?!

Austin😘- That is... but nice impersonation of him haha.

Me- Why thank you haha but would you happen to know what he's hiding?

Austin😘- Well all I can say is that he's not hiding the same thing we are hiding. (Background noise- AUSTIN!!! SHUT UP BEFORE YOU BLOW OUR COVER! HANG UP THE PHONE NOW!!!!!!) Hey I gotta go Mer but you have nothing to worry about what we are hiding but I have no clue about Bennett... I love you boo!

Me- Well then.. I love you too boo!
