Chapter 19

Title- Strange Night

Austin's POV

"Was it really necessary to scare the shit out of me?" god he pisses me off.

"No sorry but I knew you wouldn't talk to me." Bennett needs to get it through his head that none of use like him. Did he not get the message when I punched him?

"Damn straight about that," the nerve he has "I don't even see why you care. You're the one who broke her heart." by this time I was paying and doing everything I could to not hurt him. One of my fist was balled up and my teeth anxiously bit into my bottom lip.

"Thank you. Come again." I shook my head then jetted out.

"I care a lot about her. I love her." I stopped dead in place. "Don't give me that shit. You don't love her. If you loved her then you wouldn't of broken her heart. If you loved her YOU wouldn't have hooked up with the school whore when you had someone as perfect as her. So don't you dare tell me you love her. " I said with venom rolling off my tongue.

He chuckled "Ohhh I see what this is about... You like her but you can't and won't have her." I stepped closer to him. "What do you mean?" he gave me a cocky smirk. "She'll come back to me. Give it some time." he started walking towards his car "Plus why would she ever want you?"

God I'd love to kick his ass right here and now but I can't let him get to me. He's just trying to get under my skin. She'd never get back with him. No way, not ever.

I got to Meredith's house put the donuts up and went to the couch. My eyes started to become really heavy.

She stood in front of me looking older and more beautiful than ever. "I love you so much but we can't be together. You're a famous pop star and I'm a big time hollywood actress. We'd never see each other." tears were rolling down her face as well as mine.

"Baby it doesn't have to be like this. I can visit you all the time and skype you everyday. I love you. You can't leave me." she came closer to me and with her delegate fingers she wiped away my tears. "You're going on a world tour and I'm filming two incredible movies that make me fly everywhere. While I'm filming The Fault in Our Stars I have to go to Amsterdam and you'll be god knows where seeing all these beautiful girls. Austin I can't." she stepped away but I got closer.

"They don't mean anything to me. You mean everything to me and how do you think I feel about you being around Theo James and Ansel Elgort who already have their eyes on you?" she pushed me back. "Don't turn the tables on me. You're the one who cheated on me with a mahomie on your last tour. You broke me and I don't think I can go through it again if it happens." she started walking away and all I could think of was I lost the best thing that's ever happened to me.

"Austin.... Auuuussssstiiiinnnn" I slowly opened my eyes to Meredith straddling me. "Austin are you okay?" I rubbed my eyes "Yeah I'm fine I just had a bad dream."she tilted her head. "What happened in your dream to make you cry?" I was debating wether I should tell her or not.

I took a deep breath. "I lost you." she slowly smiled. "I'll never leave you." we stared into each other's eyes then she fell off me.

We erupted into laughter and she got up then offering me a hand. "So why'd you wake me up so early?" she giggle. "Austin it's 2 in the afternoon. The crew all left but they told me to tell you thanks." I must've been really tired.

"You'll never guess who I ran into last night?" her eyes got wide "Ummm Justin Bieber?" she said enthusiastically. "I would've fan girled if I did." she started laughing then gave me a weird look. "Hey don't judge but no it was Bennett. He even followed me!"

She stopped dead in her tracks. I could see the anger boiling up inside her. "What did he say?" she said while adding an eye roll. "He asked how you were then when I told him to stay away from you he got defensive. He said that he was going to win you back." I said frustratedly.

Meredith walked towards me and wrapped her arms around my neck, while mine made their way around her waist. "He's not I promise. Plus you won't let him." my heart beat sped up as she got closer to my face. The gap between us was slowly closing. Our eyes shut then the door slammed ending our moment I wish we would've had.
