CHAPTER 11: Somewhere Out There
While at the car...
“hey... am I late?... sori about that” she started the conversation
“I’m afraid u know the answer...”
She didn’t answer back.. (suplado! Sipain kita jan e!)
“u’ve been driving for an hour... how far is it really? Medyo wala ng mga bahay dito ah... pulos puno at damo...Wag mung sabihin malayo kayo sa kabihasnan?”
He laughs....and damn it all it was cute... pero di sya nagpahalata “’nope, not that.. actually lampas na tau...”
She was surprised...
“t--hen, whe--re the HELL are we going!?” she sounds in panic...
“woah...! relax ok...?! we can’t go there anymore since the meeting is already over for an hour ago...” he looked at her... “why do u sounds in panic anyway?... are u having this thoughts that I might do something to u?”
She was shocked...
“w-h-aa-t?!... I mean.... we-ll,.. then tell me, should I be afraid anyway?” she looked at him...
He smiles... “it depends”
“u- you--- can’t answer me that way!... ju—st take me home...”she told him
“I can’t... were almost here...”
She looked around.... isang malaking bahay na kulay white ang nakita nia... sa paligid nito ay isang malaking garden with different flowers... at pag titingnan mo sa malayo may matatanaw kang maliit na burol n may malaking puno sa ibabaw... medyo elevated ung area, so obviously makikita mo ung buong lugar sa baba nito, including the view of the city...
“let’s go” vien invited her.
Lumabas n cla sa car... she don’t belive what she was seeing right now, it might really be exxagerarted to call it a paradise., but damn it all, it was extremely nice.
“u like it?”he asked her...
“It’s my first time here, so I still don’t know what’s in this place... but, it’s beautiful, honestly.” She answered.
“it’s my place... or maybe, our place...”he told her.
“our?”she asked.
“yup... though, its personally my place, my friends, or shoud I say my band mates used to be here... on different purposes, it’s either in musical purposes, bonding, or just for relaxing”
“I see... so, why did u bring me here?”Yvone asked him
“well, I just thought that u might also want to be relax, it appears to me that ur quite stressed, correct me if im wrong..”
She smiled... “well, ur kinda right... there’s a lot of things that bothers me,... and its true that this place is quite something... I feel kinda relax... nice place, nice view, fresh air...quiet.... it’s good” she answered.
“told u... im glad u ,liked it too...”he smiled...
“hey, so what about the meeting?, I’m sori I’m not there, ghad! My mom would kill me... she badly want me to be there...”
“Then ur damned dead....”
“well, thank you, it helped..” she answered sarcastically
“so how was it? Can u tell me about the details?”
“I don’t know the whole thing, but what I got was the thought that ur company and ours agreed to be on partnership... since both are getting popular theres always a tendency that someday it might come to its end, theres a lot of other company who want us down, and to prevent future problems, they decided to help each other...”
“ah, so that’s how it is... not bad though...”she reacted...
“its’ getting late, I think we should go, its a long way back home right?...”
“yeah, I think so... I heard it from ur mom that u like music, I was thinking if u could spare time for me this coming Tuesday, we’ll have a gig... though it might not be sounds interesting since its our first time to be together,”
“the ACE band huh?... ok, as future buddies,.. I’ll consider it...”
He smiled...
“let’s go...”
