josh places himself on the chair opposite brendon, placing the tray on the table, sighing. "you really like to test me. i feel like i just ran a mile."

the raven haired giggles. "ah, well, that's good, because you can run a mile. it means you're not running too much but still exercising. and you have a six pack, you fitty."

he rolls his eyes. "whatever, brendon." he grabs a fry and starts to eat them one by one. brendon does the same, staring at josh with a small smile on his face. he looked adorable, especially in his cute glasses.
"w-what are you doing?" he can't help but blush a little.

the other boy seems to go rosy, too, a the grin getting wider so his teeth are showing. "looking at you." he says, before taking a bite out of his sandwich.

josh scoffs. "what? me? this feminine figure?" he gestures to his upper body, but still completely flattered.

brendon raises an eyebrow as he swallows his food. "what? nah, dude. you're completely passable. you look like a cis guy. you're beautiful."

josh decides not to answer, feeling slightly self conscious, but ignores it. brendon wouldn't stop staring at him, his deep chocolate brown eyes making josh's heart race.
the red haired couldn't stop blushing. "stop."

"adorable."

it went quiet for a few moments, brendon looking away, and the pair taking some time to eat their meal.

"fun fact, today i'm five months on testosterone! only took me fifteen years to do what i always wanted to do."

"oh my god! yes! i almost totally forgot." brendon smiles, looking as happy as joshua was. "awh. i remember. you've changed so much as a person in these five months
alone. but in a good way. physically and mentally. i'm so proud, oh my god. josh?"

"yeah?"

it went silent between the two, again.

"i-i... uh," he seemed like he was struggling to form words. "never mind." he runs his hands through his greasy hair with his even greaser hands. "it's nothing."
