tyler is woken to a familiar sound.
everything.
the cars outside, trucks, people in the apartment next door arguing again. that's all they did. as much as tyler hated to admit to it, he found it quite funny, as they would argue about stupid things things they should've considered talking about before they moved in together. for example, the guy was thousands of dollars in debut, and the girl got fired from her job for faking her qualifications.

he scoffs at that. imagine trusting people that easily. imagine just moving into an apartment together... only to find out "hey, i didn't really know you back then, but now i wish i didn't know you at all"...
humour.
he wouldn't move in with someone without a full completed survey with proof and other opinions before he considered a sleepover.

not that one person would bother asking him for even a day out, but whatever.

brendon woke up early, sweaty and unable to go back to sleep.

knowing josh wouldn't be awake until mid day, he decides to leave the house to go out and buy some warm pancakes from a take away cafe... to treat his best friend. josh deserved it, and brendon knew it. he was having a hard time with body image right now.

he could tell- even though josh never really mentioned it- that his friend was thinking a lot recently. he didn't know why, or what about. whether it be loneliness, body dysphoria, his appearance, himself in general... pancakes was always a way to cheer one up on a lovely morning like this one, right?
