Chapter Thirty Eight

Tara's POV

I woke up next morning and stared at my new ring and smiled. I still couldn't believe I was engaged. It was a wonderful feeling. I've never felt this high in my life. I was high with the happiness and possibilities of the future.

Xavier stirred next to me and woke up finally. We had a great night last night. It was passionate and sweet and full of love and laughter. Best sex we ever had.

He kissed my nose "You really like the ring, huh?"

"Are you kidding me? I love it. It is so pretty. I love you" I held his face and gave him a big kiss on his lips.

I was about to get up but he snaked his hands around my bare back and pulled me closer. He started kissing my jawline while making little circles on my bare back. I moaned with my insides melting. It was a great way to start the morning.

His lips slowly made their way to my neck and kissed me softly. I felt his finger on my thigh. I try to hold my my moans but they come out louder. It was burning sensation as he kept kissing my neck slowly. His lips found my lips again. It was intense this time. I could feel the fire growing inside of me. His lips moulded against mine in a perfect making my insides melt away.

I felt my legs weaken underneath him as his hands held me tightly. His lips doesn't leave mine as he grips the back of my thigh and I wrap my legs around him. He bites my lip softly asking for entrance and I let him. Our bodies move together in such passion and desires it feels like one. I couldn't tell where his body begins or where mine ends. I could feel how my moans where making him go crazy. He bit his lip and pressed himself even harder on me.

His mouth continue to explore my canvas and pure moan of pleasure escapes me. His body crashed into mine and all I know is I wanted more. I loved having him inside of me. No matter how much out mouth and hands move, I craved more. I couldn't get enough of him.

He pulled back after we were finished. Our chest was rising and falling from the intense workout. A faint smirk was visible on his face as he realized how much I wanted him. It was unbelievable how intense my feelings were for him.

"Round two?" He asked with his charming.

I hit him lightly on the chest which made him chuckle. I gripped the sheets to my chest as I searched for something to cover me. I found Xavier's shirt and wore it as I made my way to the shower.

Emma and I were sitting eating breakfast when Xavier came out from our room. He winked at me which made me blush.

He poured himself some cereal "I can drop Emma off if you want."

"It's okay I'll drop her. I've to pickup some samples."

He just nodded and continue eating breakfast. Emma finished and ran to get her backpack.

"Hey before I forget my Dad is throwing us party tonight. For the project and our engagement."

"That's great. Do you if Emma doesn't come? She doesn't like it and I don't want her there with so many people."

"Yeah okay. Just call the babysitter. I don't mind"

I nodded. I took my bag, kissed Xavier and took Emma to leave for the day.

I looked at time and decided I should get dressed for the party. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I decided to wear a black blackness gown with my favorite pair of earnings. I let my hair fall, applied a little make up highlighting my eyes. I picked up my heels and stepped out to see if Reese, our babysitter has arrived.

I found Reese and Emma sitting on the couch watching some movie. Reese is studying to be a nurse and Emma's favorite babysitter so far. She is practically a child herself. She watches all the animated movies with the same enthusiasm. She helps her build fort and castle with pillows. Play hide and seek and what not.
