"Scratch one!" said an incredibly annoying yet great turian, Garrus Vakrian. There goes another eclipse merc, how many did we kill? How long were we stationed up here, just waiting for one of us to go down in glory.

"Hey Garrus, what's your total kill count? Mine is 116." I said while reloading my firearm. Garrus glanced at me and he saw my tired state. Could you blame me? We were taking down mercs left and right everyday.

He shot another merc before leaning over the wall for a short breath. " Oh, I don't know I lost count after 190. Blaze are you sure your not getting tired or maybe your just out of practice." he said to me with a smirk on his face.

" Oh yeah Vakarian? If I was out of practice your ass would have been dead by now." I said with a small chuckle leaving my lips.

" True but I think I could have handled myself here if you had not come with me." he said then looked towards me with an intense stare as if telling me to regret coming here.

I just laughed a little and shot another eclipse merc through my scope, " if you are trying to make me feel guilty in coming to Omega with you, sorry to burst you bubble but I regret nothing. I came here on my own and I knew the risks... now lets stop talking and start shooting." I said.

Before we could start another shoot out, I heard the door opening...

I knew who it was and without a doubt I knew why she was here. "Archangel." Said a voice that was filled with power.

Garrus gave her the one min sign by lifting one of his talon's digit, he was about to shoot the merc that was in hiding but I shot him before he could " sorry Archangel, but this makes us even for now." I said with a playful tone.

I knew Garrus was going to get me back but right now we had bigger matters to attend to like addressing the hero of the citadel. He took off his helmet and sat down on one of the crates while leaning on his sniper riffle.

I was on guard making sure that we were not suddenly attacked while he was talking to his old friend that had surfaced beyond the grave. Shepard was clearly surprised of Garrus being Archangel, questions were asked and they were answered by the great turian.

" so now I know how you ended up here but who is she?" said the commander with a suspicious voice, I looked over my shoulder and said " I think our introductions can be done after you get our asses out of here, the only think you should know that we are allies not enemies." The commander glared at me and a tension was created as hard as stone, " I'll make you a deal: you get me and (Y/N) out of here alive and I will tell you the whole damn thing?" Garrus said breaking the tension like glass. " If we work as a team we can hold them off." Shepard said agreeing to Garrus, she still does not trust me... no problem, I was already wearing out and we needed all the support we could get to face the enemy. Shepard left the most toughest Salarian in all of Omega I have ever met, Mordin Solus. Mordin and I had a few face offs when he believed I was an enemy that worked for the blue sons.... come on I was injured and I had to face off a Salarian that looks so harmless. Any way back to the current situation, we were trying to finish off the Eclipse from the vantage point I had along with Garrus and Mordin, Shepard was at the bottom level giving her A level best out in the battle field.

Hard to imagine, we killed the leader of the blue sons with Shepard's help, she is unstoppable. I looked towards Garrus who had a few scratches on him but looked like he was ready to face of a Garm again! Man what a sight it was to see that! Garm a "freak of nature" as Garrus calls him. Garrus walked up toward me, took a look my arm that was shot "you can't shoot with an arm in that condition, back down! Shepard and I can take it from here." he said with the same worry tone he had last time. " Listen here Vakarian... I can still hold a gun and shoot and a simple injury like this can't stop me... I have been through worse." I said with an irritated voice, Garrus has been trying to get me to back down but I won't! " You are going to get hurt! why can't you see that! I lost our entire team and if I lose you then I would never forgive myself." he said with anger and a mixture of sadness. I sighed, looked into those daring electric blue eyes and took his visor off for me to have his full attention, " you win Vakarian I am going to back down but I will still act as cover fire for you cause you and I both know we are not safe until the mercs are gone." I said. He just chuckled, took the visor away from my hand and put it back on. "Good! Now get behind cover where I can keep an eye on you." he said. "Yes sir." I said with a smile, sometimes I have to give in for his sake even if I am stubborn as a Krogan.
