Those words sent a complete electric shock down till the very core of my body.

I could not comprehend those two words that had fallen out of the turian's mouth.

" Garrus... Tell me you are lying please." I said in hopes of making sure that his three words were not a lie.

Garrus had a glazed look in his eyes, he brought his right hand and started to caress my cheek.

" What I said was the truth Blaze, I love you and that's final." he said while bringing his lips closer to mine.

He again closed the gap between ours lips. The kiss was so gentle, it's was done on purpose... As if he was doing it to protect me.

When the kiss ended, we both rested our foreheads together.

Garrus still had that cocky grin, while I had a flushed out look from the kiss earlier.

I caressed his cheek and smiled at him. I clearly remembered the day we met.

Garrus, curious about my smile asked " what's up with the smile? You remembered something?".

I shook my head and leaned back on the bed." Remember the day we met?" I said.

" yeah. If I remember clearly we met at Omega. You use to work for Aria and you and I went head on head during one of your missions." he said with a smirk.

" Hey! Its's not my fault that the person you were trying to protect used you for his own advantage. While I was clearly hinting to you that he was a crazed killer." I
said to him.

" Well dont blame me when a hot bad girl like you shows up I clearly get distracted. " he said to me.

I blushed and kicked his leg.

" Just shut up vakarian. Just just up." I said while hiding my face in his armor.

Things were quite, the only thing that could be heard was Garry's heart beat and mine.. Syncing into one
