" Forgive me Garrus."

Were the words that echoed into the head of the famous turian.

Garrus suddenly stopped his line of fire. Blaze's words echoed into the hollows of his mind.

Emotions had started to emerge from within the Turian.

Distress,

Regret,

And most of all,

Fear of losing her.

Garrus quickly shot the last remaining men that were standing.

With the current matter taken care off, the Turian quickly walked to the shuttle.

Shepard noticed the Turians change in attitude during the fight.

A clear look of paranoia and agitation was evident on his face.

Curious as to what happened, Shepard pulled Garrus by the arm to make him stop with his frantic walking.

" What happened back there Garrus? You seem to be off..... Is everything okay?" she asked him with words laced with worry.

Garrus just held his head down, how could he describe his emotions.

How could he tell her that he feared something had gone wrong while they were gone?

The Turian held her hand, squeezing it tightly he looked at Shepard with a pleading look.

A look, that Shepard understood. All too clearly.

" Team, we need to report back to the ship immediately." Shepard said while quickly waking up to the shuttle.

The shuttle had set its course to the ships known location.

There was an eeire silence in the whole shuttle. No one had dared to make a sound.

Garrus was leaning next to the door, starting off at the bright stars and has clouds.

He smiled to himself, remembering how Blaze would tell him stories she would make up from the made up images she saw in the gas clouds.

She would always do that to make him smile, even when thete lives had taken a deep fall down hell, she would always be there to make him laugh.

Garrus was lost in his own trail of thought, not noticing Shepard had gotten a distress call from the Normandy.

The shuttle had landed on to the ship's docking area.

As the team got out, the only thing Garrus had in his mind was you.

The ship was awfully silent. The only thing that could be heard was the occasional humming of the ship's engine.

Nothing else... Not even the chatter of the friendly crew of the ship...

What had happened while there where gone.. ?

Garrus quickly went to the CIC, knowing full well that you would be there with Joker.

When he reached the floor. You were no where to be seen. Garrus yelled out your name.

Called you out until he heard nothing.

His heart broke...

He did not know where you were.

Thoughts of losing you started to rise up again. He needed to find answeres. Soon his prayers were answered.

Joker had called in Shepard, Miranda, Jacob and Garrus into the meeting room, in order to disclose what had truly happened during there absence.

" You're telling me that Blaze sacrificed herself for you, so that you could save the ship?" Garrus said in pure outrage.

Joker just looked down, not having the words to describe the pain he felt after seeing the person closest to him meet her ill fated destiny.

Shepard pulled Garrus back away from the pilot.

She was as worried as the Turian. Worried about he crew and especially the fate of her sister.

" Garrus I know your mad at me but you have to understand. I had to do what I had to do. Without this ship you would never be able to save her." the pilot said out of the blue.

Garrus looked up at Shepard, she just nodded her head and ordered Garrus to rest up before things get out of hand.

The Turian sighed, he walked out the door of the conference room and out to the CIC.

He got in to the elevator, as the doors closed the elevator started to move up to the crew deck.

His mind was filled with thoughts of you getting hurt and tortured by the collectors.

He could feel the fear you would have at the current moment. The screams of agony of yours echoed in his mind.

But he knew you so well...

You would bare these harsh punishments, just so you could save the others.

Making the collectors souly focus on you before Shepard could take the leap.

You were giving them time... As much as you could.

A ghostly sad-smile lingered on his face. Tears had started to drop from the Turian's eyes.

" (y/n) you were always the one to sacrifice yourself for others...
I will save you. I promise." he says to himself.

[{~}]

Things were becoming unbearable for you. The collectors had conducted several tests on you...

And for what?

You body was chained to the wall. You could not move nor see what was going on. As they had blinded you.

Then suddenly a voice you feared was heard, right next to your ear.

" It's finally good to have you Otihash. Now let's began shall we?" was all the voice said before my screams of pain echoed throughout the whole room..

"Garrus.. Save me"
