Chapter 19:

A loud growl vibrated its way through my open window, making me rush over to it. I leant out of the window to see Corey leaning against his motorbike with his arms crossed over his chest making his chest muscles bulge, while revving the engine and smiling up at me. Smiling back, I gave him a small wave before disappearing back into my room.

Picking up my jacket, that was lying on my bed, I headed out of my room and bounded downstairs. I took one last look in the mirror at the bottom of the stairs before picking up my keys. I was wearing my typical black jeans and my grey Bring Me The Horizon band t-shirt with a leather jacket. He did say something comfortable I could wear on the motorbike.

When I opened the front door I spotted Corey in an instant and my heart immediately sparked. I quickly closed the door behind me and walked over to Corey, trying not to break into a run, who instantly wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me flush against him.

"Hey you," he whispered huskily before leaning down to kiss me. The second his soft lips brushed mine my heart soared and sparks rushed through my body. He broke away for a second until I pulled him back by the collar of his top. I felt him smirking as he continued to kiss me. My hands that rested on his chest moved up along his shoulders to eventually wrap around his neck which made him try to pull me even closer.

A loud cough made us jump away from each other and turn towards the front door. My dad was standing in the doorway with his arms crossed and a frown on his face. My cheeks burst into a crimson red as our eyes met. How long has he been there?

"Don't try anything Corey," he scowled until I felt Corey nod behind me, then he turned back around and walked into the house and closed the door loudly behind him.

"We should get going," I grabbed Corey's hand and pulled him towards his motorbike. His deep voice chuckled as he picked up the helmets and gave one to me, his smile as bright as his eyes. Once we had climbed onto his motorbike, I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head on his shoulder.

"So...where are we going?"

He turned his head slightly to look at me, making me look up at him over my glasses.

"Surprise," he smirked before looking forward and turning on the engine. The motorbike roared to life, vibrating through my body.

Laughing I muttered,"meany," to myself as I fastened my helmet on my head. Moments later the bike started to cruise away from the side of the road, off towards the mystery location of our date.

After at least half an hour of being pressed against Corey, the trees started to disappear to reveal miles of flat fields. A familiar smell of petrol wafted up my nose making me curious but I dismissed it. Must just be the bike. But as a big dark roof drifted towards us I started to question this.

Eventually, we started to slow down as the turning towards the big dark roof neared closer. We turned down the concrete road and pulled up into the carpark. Once the engine turned off the vibrating stopped but the humming continued. Taking the helmet off the hums got louder and I looked at Corey. Are we at a racetrack?

"Where are we?" I asked with a small smile as I climbed off the bike. Corey was already looking at me with a wide grin but stayed on the bike.

"You'll find out soon. Just stay here, I have to take the bike around the back," with that he turned the engine back on and slowly drove around the corner of the building, leaving me standing alone in the carpark. I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest wondering where he could have gone. Not knowing how long he would be, I decided to walk over to the few steps at the front of the building and sat down, resting my elbows on my knees.
