Hey guys! Sorry about the wait I've had my exams. Luckily I only have one left so I'll be back to posting new chapters quickly! At the top I've attached a song I absolutely love at the moment that is also played in this chapter. It's Crazy by Aerosmith.

I've decided to do a sequel if this book gets over 1K reads by the end... Which may come soon, I don't know exactly (maybe 5-ish chapters).

Don't forget to vote and comment and tell people about this story please.

I hope you like it!

Chapter 44:

"One week guys!" Ariana shouted as she walked into the living room, Katie in tow.

"Oh my God! What are you going to do this year?" Casey asked excitedly as the twins sat on the other black sofa.

"Due to a significant event that has just been made aware to us we are basing it on that," Katie explained cryptically with an eager smile. My mind immediately whirled over everything new that's been happening lately but I don't think they would want to make their 17th birthday party into a dating event so I gave up and waited for Katie's dramatic pause to end. I quickly looked at my phone before returning my attention to the group, a heavy feeling in my heart.

"And what's this significant event?" Hattie pushed, satisfying the glint in the twins' eyes.

"There's a Full Sturgeon Moon on our birthday! It's also know as the Full Red Moon as it has a reddish sultry haze. The moon will also undergo a partial lunar eclipse that night as well!" Katie beamed, going into full celestial mode.

"That's awesome!" I smiled widely at Katie. "What are you going to do?"

"We're having a bonfire, barbecue and going to get drunk!" Ariana and Katie squealed together, jumping around in joy.

"It'll end up looking like some satanic ritual. A bonfire under a red moon with drunk teens. Are we going to be chucking random objects into the fire too?" I chuckled.

"We can burn our school books," Casey suggested with an evil grin making us all laugh.

"As much as I would love to do that I think we'll still need them next year," I sighed at the sad realisation.

Oh well...

"Oh well guess I'll see you in hell..."

And that's another song stuck in my head.

"Stuck in your head!"

Ugh!

"We could burn some of our secondary school books if we haven't already," Hattie said, looking between us all. We nodded in agreement, stating we might have a few. I slipped my hand into my hoodie pocket and pulled out my phone. I frowned when I saw I had no notifications, making me immediately go onto Corey's contact, seeing when he was last active.

Active 15 hours ago

My frown deepened as I sent him the millionth message today.

Ash: Corey what's going on? Why aren't you replying? Are you okay?

"Hey," Hattie nudge my side," I'm sure everything's fine. His phone probably died and he can't find the charger." She gave me a reassuring smile but my stomach was still tied in knots. I checked my phone one last time before pulling it back into my pocket.
