Chapter 36:
"Ready to go princess?" Corey asked as he leant against the doorframe of the open door to my bedroom.
"Yup," I hopped up from my bed, shrugging my jacket on. Corey wrapped his arm around my shoulders as we walked downstairs.
"Bye mum, see you tomorrow!" I called into the kitchen before I grabbed my bag off the floor beside the door.
"Have fun sweetie!" She replied as we slipped out of the house.
"Excited?" Corey pulled me by my hips towards him, brushing his nose against mine. My breath hitched at the cute gesture.
"Obviously," I pressed my forehead against his as we gazed into each others eyes, not bothering to move anytime soon.
"Shouldn't we be going?" I whispered after a while. Corey just pulled me towards him and gave me a quick kiss that left me breathless before climbing onto his bike. I sat behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist, and we were off.

We soon arrived at the cinema. There was people everywhere, which didn't surprise either of us since it was Saturday.
"Let's go!" Corey chirped with a wide grin as he dragged me towards the entrance. Laughing I followed his quick pace, his hand securely fixed around mine.
When we entered the building we soon joined a long line waiting to be served for movie snacks.
"Have you got the tickets?" I asked as I leant against Corey.
"Yup," he smiled waving a piece of paper in front of us making me laugh.
"What would you like?" The lady behind the counter asked when we finally reached it. Her brown hair was pulled back into a high ponytail, the ends dip dyed blue.
"Large sweat and salty popcorn, Coke and..." Corey looked at me expectantly.
"Blue and red slushy please," I smiled at the lady. She nodded and went to get our snacks. After we paid we walked off towards where they check our tickets.
"I can't believe you remembered my favourite popcorn flavour!" I gushed at Corey as he took a sip of his Coke, his cheeks tinting rose pink.
"I remember everything about you sweetheart," he kissed my temple before handing the tickets over to the ticket taker.
"Screen 5," the guy said. We thanked him and walked towards Screen 5.
Corey looked at my large mixed red and blue slushy with an amused look.
"What? It's a tradition. Whenever I went to the cinema with my grandma she would always get me a blue and red slushy. Now every time I come to the cinema I get one," I gave him a small smile before taking a big sip of the icy goodness, moaning in appreciation.
"That's cute," Corey gave me a sad smile before opening the door for me. I smiled gratefully as we went to get our seats, which were at the back corner of the room.
