Chapter 21:The warm Sun kissed my skin as its orange rays shone through my bedroom window. A small smile curled onto my lips as I stretched my arms and sat up, flattening my bed hair. I picked up my glasses and lifted them onto my face. I looked at my phone screen to turn off the alarm and found I had a message from Corey.
Corey: good morning, you look beautiful today xx
My smile grew and my heart swelled in my chest as I read this.
Ash: how would you know if I look beautiful if you can't see me?
Almost immediately my phone buzzed making me smile.
Corey: I don't need to see you to know you look beautiful ;)
I chuckled and rolled my eyes at the screen. He can be such a hopeless romantic sometimes.
Ash: well if you're going by that logic...morning handsome. ;)
Corey: awe no sexy? :(
Ash: nah
Corey: I'll have to prove you wrong later then ;)
I rolled my eyes once again at the screen, chuckling.
Ash: I look forward to it. See you at school xx
Corey: see you soon beautiful xx
My heart fluttered as I turned off my phone and started to change into some black high waist skinny jeans and a maroon long sleeved top. Once I finished changing, I bounded downstairs with a feather weight spring in my step.
"Morning," I said in a sing song voice as I sat next to my brother at the kitchen table. He is a year younger than me with dark brown hair from my father and hazel eyes. Unlike me, he tans easily and is tall with high cheekbones.
"Someone's happy this morning," my mum smiled at me as I started to pour myself a bowl of cereal. I hummed in response and started to eat.
"Yeah, lover boy helped with that," my brother smirked at me.
"Ryan! How dare you assume such things!" I stated defensively while frowning at him but Ryan just laughed.
"Guilty, so guilty," he teased looking up at my mum raising an eyebrow.
"Leave her be, Ryan and eat your breakfast," she ordered softly. Luckily, Ryan stopped himself from teasing me anymore and ate his breakfast.
Once I finished my cereal I left to catch the bus, eager to see Corey.

"How'd the date go?" Ariana asked as we walked towards our form room.
"Amazing! He taught me how to ride a motor bike and then we went go cart racing and I won! Then on top of that, we had a picnic on top of the hill he took me to months ago! Best date ever!" I gasped for air after my long explanation, biting my lip with a wide smile.
"You are one lucky girl then," Ariana smiled as we arrived at our form room.
"Ash! Tell me everything!" Casey demanded the second she saw us. Laughing I told her everything I just told Ariana but in slightly more detail.
"Sounds like they got a bit dirty," Tim said winking at me.
"I hope you didn't young lady!" Casey scolded which just made me laugh.
"You're not my mother!"
"Does that mean you did or you didn't?" She crossed her arms menacingly but the effect she hoped it would have was dampened by her short hight.
