"Class today we are going to try something new," Mr Francis instructed as he stood tall at the end of the classroom. All eyes quickly turned to him, bubbling questions reflected in every pupil. I looked at Katie with an excited smile as she looked at me with wide baby eyes.
Something new always means something good.
"For the rest of this week's lessons you will be painting your partner using any type of paint you want. You will be using the easels and A2 canvas that are in the corner."
Mutters rose silently from the students as they listened to Mr Francis.
"You may begin."
I looked to my left to see Corey staring down at me. I smiled up at him as his big brown eyes locked with mine.
"I guess we're painting each other then," he said softly.
"And this time I'll know you are painting me," I smirked cheekily which made him chuckle and kiss my cheek.
"I'll go get our canvases and easels," he stood up and I quickly followed him.
"Nope we are getting them. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean you have to do everything for me," I smiled up at him as we walked over to where an organised pile of easels and canvases were.
Corey chuckled," oh yeah I forgot, women equality."
I rolled my eyes and nudged his side with my elbow. He looked down at me with wide eyes as he laughed and wrapped his arm around my waist. I quickly spun out of his hold and smiled up at him.
"Oh look we're here," I widened my eyes sarcastically and started to pick out a canvas. Corey's deep voice rumbled with a chuckle as he stood next to me, choosing his own canvas.
Once we collected our equipment we walked back to our table in a comfortable silence.
"What angle do you want to draw me from?" Corey smiled down at me whilst flashing little poses and pouts. I laughed as I shook my head at him and placed the canvas on my easel, that was at an angle with his so we could still see each other while painting.
"Um...turn around," I instructed and he gave me a curious look before following my instruction and turning around.
"Now stay like that while I paint you," I bit my lip as I held in a laugh. He looked over his shoulder at me with a confused frown.
"Don't you want to see my face?"
"Nah, you're better looking without it," I smirked and he quickly turned back around with a distraught look on his face.
"What?"
And that's when I burst out laughing.
"I'm joking! Oh my god your face!"
His face contorted in confusion then a smile spread across his lips as his eyes carefully watched my laughing state. He walked a couple of steps and was suddenly in front of me. My laughter immediately stopped as I looked up at him, my mouth slightly open. My heart started to beat faster as he placed his hands on my hips before quickly pulling me into him and kissing me. I smiled against his lips as my arms automatically wound around his neck.
