Chapter 2: Party...and Other Unfortunate Events
"Ready!"
I walked down the steps of my large staircase which had marble steps and a golden railing. I took each step carefully as I held on to the side of my dress so I would not step on the thin slippery material.
The girls were waiting at the bottom of the stairs, all looking up at me, their mouthes gaping. I smirked at them.
Once I reached the bottom, the girls quickly bombarded me with compliments.
I was throwing a party and had invited everyone, except the very geekiest people of course. Like, why would I want them at my party? Ew. I would have to look at them and I appreciate at least decent looking people.
I did not want to ruin my perfectly perfect mood with uglies breathing up in my face. They would drool over my newest designer dress from Versace. Like, it cost 5,000 US dollars.
Money doesn't grow on trees people! You can't just go and rip off a ripe dollar bill.
"You look ah-MAZING!" Anni screeched.
"I love love love that dress, its so sparkly!" Margo gawked at it with wide eyes.
"You're so lucky." Chimed in Demi with a jealous tone.
Well, it is quite a beauty. It was in baby blue and was halfway to my knees. It hugged my body without being flimsy. The material was completely covered in tiny light blue neon beads. It went around my right shoulder but not the left. I topped the whole thing off with a small diamond tear drop necklace around my neck and white high heels from Jimmy Choo. My outfit really complimented my sunshine coloured hair and beautiful leaf green eyes.
I flipped my perfect curls and smiled bright, stepping away from my admirers.
I faced them and I studied each friend. I had to admit, they all looked nice. Demi was wearing her chestnut coloured hair in a bun with loose strands hanging down on the sides of her face. She had on a frilly multicoloured short dress and white pumps on her feet. Tiffany's blonde hair was swept to the side and pinned with a diamond brooch. She wore a short, indigo short sleeve chemise dress and flats with jewels on the front. Anni wore her hair in a high ponytail and a red cocktail dress. But of course, no one could have better clothes other than me. It is just impossible.
"Ladies, you look gorgeous! Totally fabulous. Let's go out there and make all the boys fall at our feet!" I commended and raised my hand in victory.
"Like, no duh." They said and we all laughed.

2 hours into the party...
All eyes had been on me when I met my guests. I saw the green envy in their eyes as they glared at me. I get it all the time but it pays to be beauitful, rich, and smart like me. But seriously, if eyes could have lasers to shoot people, I'd be dead now. Good thing it's not true, I wouldn't want people to kill me just because they can't look as good as me.
That's right, bask in all my glory.
As soon as the party started, everyone had stated to party hard. That would mean dancing, drinking, and getting rooms. I locked my door though so that nothing would happen in my room. I wouldn't want people snooping through my private things and by chance finding my most important thing of all: my diary. I'm glad my parents left for France on some business trip. They would freak out about this party, but it sure is great to party. Plus, rule number two for popular kids is to throw parties.
