One week has passed after that incident. Everything's back to normal—almost. Dahil sa nangyari, mas naging mainit ang mata ng mga estudyante rito. Kalat na kalat ang nangyari sa 'kin no'ng Levelling Battle.

Well, pa'no hindi kakalat kung lahat ng estudyante ng Hezaira ando'n? Their eyes always land on me everytime I pass by. They have this glare saying that I don't deserve being friends with the royals.

They have this stare asking me why my power is water. Nasabi sa 'kin nila Jeniah ang tungkol sa pagkakaroon ng iisang type of power lang. I actually don't know what to think already.

Atleast I'm not powerless anymore. Maybe I do really belong here. Well, who would've thought that a simple student named Via Myrre isn't normal? What a twisted fate I had.

I miss being human. Waking up every morning with peace of mind. No questions about my real identity or whatsoever. I sighed. I guess this is my life now.

"Via! Get your ass down hete, we're going to eat." I chuckled. Cyrine being a dork again. I love that side of her. "Coming up!" I shouted back.

Napahawak ako sa kwintas ko. This butterfly necklace is a mystery to me as well. I don't know what it means. I sighed before I went down to eat.

"So what do y'all have for a meal?" Kaagad na tanong ko nang makita sila sa mesa. "Bacon, dear." ani Lievelle at nilagyan pagkain ang plato ko.

This is the only thing I find normal here. Eating like a human with human food. I thought their food here isn't normal also.

We headed to our classroom after we finished eating. Wala ang boys. Where could they be?

"Girl, may transferee raw? I heard it's handsome," rinig kong sabi ng isang estudyante. "Oo, oo! Gwapo talaga, ackk!" sagot ng babae at tumili.

Nagkatinginan na lamang kaming lima. Girls when they hear something about handsome boys.

"I guess the transferee must be really handsome to be the center of chismisan today." Maya spoke.

"Oh, oh! I'm excited to see him." Natawa na lamang kami sa sagot ni Cyrine. As always.

Pagkapasok namin sa classroom ay agad naming nakita ang mga kaibigan naming lalaki. Whoa, maaga sila. That's new.

"Whoa, ang aga niyo. What has gotten into y'all?" Jeniah asked. The boys just shrugged in response.

"We just want to check if the transferee is much handsome than me." Jaxon answered. Napailing na lamang ako.

"Of course he is! Hindi ka naman gwapo." pangbabara ni Cyrine.

"Am I talking to you, ugly doofus?" masungit na tanomg ni Jaxon. And the war has started.

"Whoa, ugly coning from a froglet. That's new." Napailing na lamang kami sa dalawa nang mag-umpisa na naman silang magbangayan. They always quarrel and I'll bet, they're going to fall in love with each other.

I chuckled at my own thought.

"Shut up you two. Hindi na ako magtataka kung mahuhulog kayo sa isa't-isa." pigil sa kanila ni Lievelle. I guess I ain't the only one who thinks that way.

"Just what the hell, Lievelle? That's not going to happen I swear! Not with this fat ass berk." kaagad na reaksyon ni Cyrine.

Natawa ako nang binato ni Jaxon si Cyrine ng crumpled paper. Napatingin ako kay Zane nang makitang nakatingin ito sa 'kin. Agad itong iniwas ang mata.

"Are you okay, Zane?" I asked. He just nodded and plugged his earphones inside his ears. Weird.

The bell rang and our professor entered the classroom at the same time. Cool.

"A pleasant morning, students. I bet everyone has heard about the transferee." We all nodded as a response.

Napatingin kami sa pinto nang may pumasok na isang lalaki na may lilang buhok. He must be the transferee. I like the color of his hair. It's violet, looks attractive.

"Introduce yourself." Our professor spoke. The boy nodded.

"Hi, I'm Hendrix Cole Gunner. Please to meet you all." he politely introduced himself. Narinig ko ang mahinang tili ng mga kaklase ko.

"Alright. You may sit in that vacant chair next to Princess Hemiah." Hendrix obeyed and went to the vacant chair next to Maya.

Dumaan ang mata ko kay Jace. Biglang kumunot ang noo ko. Why is he looking at Hendrix intently? He's a weird guy.

Two hours passed and it's already break time. Finally, a recess. Our professor talked about mages and their weaknesses according to their power. I learned a lot.

"Let's go, let's go! I'm hungry." Sumunod kami kay Jeniah nang mauna itong maglakad. I grabbed my earphones in my pocket and plugged it in my ears.

I played 'It's You' by Ali Gatie. Hm, I regret playing it now. The lyrics remind me of my ex-boyfriend who played my feelings. I'm already over him but of course, the fact that you got played still hurts.

Tahimik lang ako na nakikinig sa music hanggang sa makaabot kami sa cafeteria. We sat in our usual spot and Cyrine took our orders.

"Via, what's that?" Napatingin ako kay Lievelle nang marinig ang pangalang ko.

"What's what?" I asked back. "That thing in your ears. What's that?" I think she's talking about my earphones. Haven't they see Zane wearing one?

"It's called earphones. Come, I'll show you how it works." Kaagad namang lumapit sa 'kin si Lievelle. I plugged the earphone in her ears. We're sharing. I played an upbeat song.

"Whoa! This is so cool!" I smiled. Hiniram niya ang earphones ko kasama ang phone ko at pinakita kila Jeniah ang ginawa ko kanina.

Napatigin ako kay Zane.

"Hey, I saw you wearing one. You didn't show it to them?" Agad namang napatingin si Zane sa 'kin.

"You saw my earphones?" I nodded in his question. "Maybe you don't like sharing that's why you didn't let them see it?" I asked.

"Nope. I just don't want them to know that I'm using human stuffs." He answered. Bago pa man ako magtanong kung bakit ay agad na siyang nagsalita. "You see, I once told them that I'll never be interested in human stuffs so yea, I never showed my earphones to them. I ain't going to buy their meals for a week, that's a no no."

I chuckled. So he doesn't showed that to them because they had a deal that if his going to be involve with a single human-related stuffs, he'll pay for their meals for one week. Make sense.

"By the way, you mentioned you saw the earphones. Paano? Ginawa kong invisible 'yan." I shrugged.

"I actually don't know. I just saw it." He just nodded. Dumating na si Cyrine na dala-dala ang pagkain namin kaya hindi na kami nag-usap pa ni Zane.

Napatigil kami sa pagkain nang may lumapit sa 'ming lalaki. It was Hendrix.

"Hi, can I sit here? Wala ng bakanteng upuan e." aniya.

I smiled. "Sure, come sit." Sumang-ayon din ang iba. Umupo ito sa tabi ni Maya na biglang nanahimik nang dumating si Hendrix.

"Thank you." We smiled. We continue eating and asked Hendrix some questions to get to know him. He seems nice.

Napansin kong nakatingin na naman si Jace kay Hendrix. He's staring at him intently. Hindi ko na lamang pinansin at kumain na lang.
