Percy POV:

I drove over to Annabeth's house. We were going on a... well, it wasn't really a date, but it kinda was. We were going to go get something to eat and then walk around. Central Park.

She got into my car.

"So, where do you want to go?" I asked.

"Hmm. I don't know."

"Are you very hungry?"

"Not really. What about you?"

"Not really. How about Starbucks?"

"Sounds good,"

We drove to the Starbucks across from the park. I got a chocolate chip cookie and Annabeth got a latte. We went over to the park, near the lake and sat down under a tree.

"Remember the Titan War, when we fought a battle here?" She asked after we sat in silence.

"When Grover turned Hyperion into a tree? Of course I remember. Those were the days, back before Gaia, and the pit."

"Yeah,"

We sat for a minute, watching people go by.

"Sometimes I really miss Leo. I mean, he was an insufferable idiot, but he was one of the Seven, and he was our friend. Plus, he was the only one who sort of understood my obsession with architecture."

"I know what you mean. I miss him too. He always made bad puns with me."

We talk for a while and we were just about to head home when Piper IMed Annabeth.

"Annabeth, you need to come back to camp! Like, right now. It's a man emergency."

"Okay, what for?"

"You'll see when you get here,"

"Should Percy come to?"

I stepped into the frame.

"Hi, Piper,"

"Yeah, hold on," she leaned out of the frame. "JASON! DON'T IRIS MESSAGE PERCY. HE'S HERE."

Jason must have replied, but we didn't hear it.

"We'll be over in a few minutes,"

The message disappeared.

"What could this be?" I asked my girlfriend.

"I honestly don't know," she said.
