Percy POV:
I woke up when the sun streamed into my room through the high windows on the east wall. The bed next to me was empty, but still warm. There was a note on it, written in celestial bronze ink. She must've written it with my sword. I was annoyed, but Annabeth is the only person who is allowed to tough my sword.
Seaweed Brain, I had to go back to my cabin. Technically, we aren't allowed to sleep in another cabin, so if anyone asks, I slept in my own bed. See you at breakfast.
Love, Wise Girl
I sighed. It was stupid that we couldn't sleep together. We survive Tartarus together, but noooooo, we can't spend the night in the same bed because it's against the rules. Oh well.
Annabeth POV:
I wish I didn't have to leave early this morning, but I had to go before the sun was up and I didn't want to wake up Percy.
The dining pavilion was already bustling when I got there. I had already surrendered control of the Athena cabin to Malcolm for the semester, so I just wandered up whenever I felt like it. Percy was at his table, which happened to be on my way to mine.
I stopped and kissed his cheek as I walked by. "Morning, Seaweed Brain,"
He looked up. "Morning," he said, his face stuffed with food.
I smiled at him and winked, then walked away. After all, I slept in my own bed last night, didn't I?
