Percy POV:

"So, where do we start?" Percy asked a few minutes later, wanting to get the storytelling over with.

"From the very beginning, as far back as you remember," said Mom, wanting to hear everything.

"So, I woke up in the Wolf House, in Sonoma, California one morning with no memory of anything. I didn't remember my own name, where I came from, where I'd gotten my sword. I had a ragged CHB shirt, but it was too faded to read, and my CHB necklace, but I had no idea what the beads meant. In fact, I only remembered one thing, one name. Annabeth."

"Awwwwwww! You didn't tell me that!" His girlfriend was attacking me with kisses, pouncing on top of me. I kissed her back and sat up again, her body leaning against mine.

"I was re-trained by the roman wolf goddess, Lupa...." he went on talking, telling his story. His family listened with increasing horror. When he got to the part where the Argo II came to New Rome, the son of Poseidon and the daughter of Athena started taking turns talking.

"....The Athena Parthenos was safe, only Percy and I were left in the cave. He started climbing the ladder up when I screamed. A web was wound around my foot, pulling me into the pit. It had still been stuck to Arachne. My knife had already fallen. I couldn't cut it. I was being pulled towards the pit. Percy jumped off the ladder. He grabbed my hand. Our friends watched from the ship's deck. It all happened so fast. We fell down a few feet, but he grabbed onto a ledge. I told him to let go, to save himself, but he refused. He tried to pull me up, but he couldn't. Arachne's weight was pulling me down, yanking on my already broken foot. He yelled at Nico, to him to lead our friends to the Doors of Death. Then he let go of the ledge, and we fell. Together."

She started crying, so did Percy. He pulled her closer to his body. The memories were painful, but taking seemed to help. Sally was horrified. Percy took a shaky, deep breath.

"I don't know how long we fell. We fell all the way to Tartarus, to Hell. It was pitch black. Suddenly there was a bit of light. We fell from the shaft. The ground was closing in when I sensed a river nearby. It was the river of pain, but I managed to get it to catch us. The water was icy and full of souls who were telling us to give up, we crawled...."

Talking about Tartarus was hard. They couldn't have done it without the other there.

Finally, they finished their tale. Percy's mom came over to give us a hug. They were both crying, the memories were so painful, but I felt like a weight had been lifted from my back. Sally invited Annabeth to stay the night. She said yes. It was late, so she decided to just sleep in one of Percy's old shirts, rather than going back to her house to get pajamas.

They sat on the couch for a few more minutes, looking out at the city. Or, Annabeth was looking out the window. Percy was looking at his girlfriend. Her eyes were still a bit red and puffy from crying, but Percy thought she looked stunning.

"You look beautiful,"

"Thank you. You look handsome, my lovely boyfriend." She started giggling.

"There we go! I made you smile!"

"Yes. Yes you did,"

Percy leaned over and kissed her forehead, then pulled her close and nibbled. She sat up and kissed him right on the lips. He kissed her back. They kissed for a long time, and when they broke apart for air, we were both smiling.

A/N: I'm sorry I took so long to update! I'll try not to do it again. Please comment and feel free to be a Grammar Nazi in the comments. I'm lucky if I remember to edit other than what Word tells me is wrong.

I don't own Percy, Annabeth, any other characters, blah, blah, blah, you get the point I own nothing.
