Annabeth POV:
I looked out the window; the moon was straight overhead. I could hear Malcolm snoring. All of my siblings were asleep, but I could see Percy looking out the window. He lay down and rolled over. Suddenly, I decided to do something risky.
I looked around the room one more time, and then closed the door behind me. I quietly hurried around the back of the cabins, staying out the light from the full moon. I got to the back of the Poseidon cabin and listened for a moment. Then I rush around the front and ran into Percy's cabin.
Percy POV:
I heard the door creak and grabbed Riptide, on instinct.
"Shh..It's just me," someone whispered
"Annabeth?"
"Yeah,"
"What are you doing here?"
"I couldn't sleep," she confessed.
I scooted over in my bed and put my sword away. It's not like I was gonna use it on my girlfriend.
She climbed onto my bed and laid her head on my chest.
"Percy, are you shirtless?"
"Yeah," I said, "but it's a warm night!"
"Mmm. I see." She nodded sleepily.
Annabeth cuddled up by my side and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Love you, Wise Girl."
"Love you too, Seaweed Brain."
"Good night,"
"Good night,"
I don't know which of us fell asleep first, but the moment we were in the same bed, we were able to get the rest we needed.
